So Proud of London Tonight!

We’ve outright rejected the politics of fear and hate by voting in Sadiq Khan as London Mayor. 

His opposing candidate, Zac Goldsmith ran a dog whistle campaign that sought to link Sadiq Khan with terrorism purely because he is a Muslim. In fact, his campaign was so bad that it was called out by other Tory members, prominent Tory commentators and his own sister. 

Sadiq Khan’s victory in London is not only a victory for a Muslim kid from the council estates of London, but also for tolerance in the face of racism and negative politics.

Let’s hope this is a trend that continues!

I think it was at one of the Cons that someone asked if there would be another LGBT character, and I think they said we’d get another Bisexual character and I assumed it was gonna be someone brand new to the show ?? don’t quote me on this btw
