OBSESSED with the idea that when jerejean kisses in the next book, Jeremy thinks Jean just wants him for sex, cuz like everyone does, so why would this be different? And so they make out a few times here or there and Jeremy keeps on making little sex jokes now and then bc he knows it’s coming and this will end soon and he has to be ok with that bc what else is he good for in the end but then like. Jean gets him something. A small gift. Maybe a handmade bracelet he made with Cat or something. And Jeremy’s like “oh. That’s nice” and he’s confused bc shouldn’t this be over with by now? Why is Jean trying to be so nice about it? And so then he’s like “you know, I know we’re not dating or anything. That’s not what this is about lol, you don’t have to get me anything” and Jean just. frowns. and he says “oh. well then I don’t think I want this. sorry” and he acts so nonchalant about it even tho it hurts him SO BAD bc of course he can’t have this. of course. And Jeremy’s just absolutely astounded. And he’s like “you wanna DATE me?” And Jean’s honesty is painful but ofc it is and he says “yes. But I understand that you don’t want that, so this should end now” and Jeremy’s like “nonono WAIT” and THATS how they end up dating

I love Matt so much. He saw Neil never talking about it going after girls and immediately thought he was gay. However he sees Andrew doing the same thing but just thinks he’s a freak of nature or something.

I find it interesting how Seth died such a similar death to Riko’s. A murder framed as a suicide. Like here you have (arguably) the least important Fox and the most important Raven. The first person to die and the last person to die. The character that got the plot rolling and the character that keeps trying to stop its procession. And they just. Die the exact same way. It’s a full circle moment and honestly such a satisfying way for Riko to go. He lived trying to prove that he was special, but in the end he died the same way his victim did.

Why don’t I see anyone talking about the fact that in The Golden Raven Andrew started letting Aaron drive his car?

Sure, you could say it's only because Andrew had a broken collarbone and Neil had broken ribs. But Andrew could've asked Renee or Nicky, just like he did before. Instead, he let Aaron drive.

I just love that it's such a small detail, but it says so much about how much their relationship has improved.

(Which means Kevin is now the only Monster Andrew has never let drive his car lol. Then again, I doubt he cares anymore now that he has a car of his own)

Allison discovers that she and Neil have the same eye shape, so every time she wants to experiment with a new eyeshadow palette or dramatic wing, she tries it on Neil first while filling him in on every piece of gossip she’s collected over the past few days. Neil always walks back into their room sporting yet another colorful look, only to be met with one of Andrew’s skeptical raised eyebrows. “How do I look?” Neil asks. “Like a pony threw up on your face.” Neil only smiles, shuffling closer to Andrew, deliberately holding his gaze as those brown eyes inevitably drift upward to inspect the glitter dusted across his eyelids. “I think you like it.” “Thinking isn’t your strong suit,” Andrew replies before hooking a hand around the back of Neil’s neck, pulling him in just to shut him up with a kiss.
