Vegan Dinner Ideas!
Pizza (x) (x) (x) (x) - That’s right, no need to worry about giving up pizza when you go vegan. It will always be here for you.
Potato/Sweet Potato Fries (x) (x) (x) (x) - You will fall in love with potatoes in a way you never imagined possible after you realize just how good they are and all the different ways they can be made.
Pasta/Noodles (x) (x) (x) (x) (x) (x) - Carbs are not the enemy! And, believe it or not, pasta is not bad for you. carbs give you energy and they love you and I bet you love them too. So go ahead, eat some noodles. Quick + Easy.
Rice (x) (x) (x) (x) - There are tons of different ways to make rice and this is such a staple food for vegans. And its one of the cheapest calories so you can afford it no matter what your income is.
Curry (x) (x) (x) - This is such a rich, tasty meal if it’s cold or gloomy out and you’re feeling some comfort food. Lucky for you, vegans eat more than just broccoli and celery.
Stir Fry (x) (x) (x) (x) - You can follow a recipe or just cook some noodles and random veggies and then pour your favorite vegan sauce on top. No cooking skills required.
Burrito (x) (x) (x) (x) - Have a bunch of leftovers you have no idea what to do with? Throw em on a tortilla and roll it into a burrito (don’t forget the sriracha though).
Soup/Chili (x) (x) (x) (x) (x) - There are tons of soup and chili recipes out there. Seriously, endless amounts. Good to make in bulk so you can just warm it up throughout the week when your to lazy to cook.
You may have previously thought that making vegan food takes longer or is harder to make. Don’t worry though, it’s not!
Once you get use to making vegan food, you’ll probably ditch the cookbooks and just throw whatever you have into a pan and cook it. Sometimes it’ll be crap but most of the time you’ll get a good turnout.
But when you’re starting off, it can be beneficial to follow recipes just to get ideas and get use to it.
Just stay away for the salt and oil as much as possible, keep the fat to around 10%, don’t worry about protein (but don’t be afraid of beans), and #ctfu!
