It's an impossibilty. The entire lake is contained behind the glass of the full length mirror, moving with the turning of your head as if a window. But it isn't, one remaining factor makes that true. Your reflection is perfectly visible, yet unbothered by the clearly boiling expanse. Despite not setting a single foot in the waters, you feel your clothes getting wet.

The contents of the mirror begin to leak over the edge of the wooden frame. Your eyes can't break away from the waves as they toil and crash against one another, the intensity of which making your heart sink into your stomach. Your reflection gets an oddly sedated look on it's face, and as you reach a hand up to your own, you feel that it has adopted the same expression. A heat manifests within the space between your eyes and your brain. The heat turns to burning as the pressure building-
