Nobody can freaking read. We got people going "oh where is this cookie?! What about that cookie?! Wah wah they should have been there wah" during the Ananas update LIKE MY BROTHER IN DOUGH. THOSE CHARACTERS AREN'T INVOLVED YET MY GOODNESS. The story literally will tell the reason and people won't. Freaking. Read.
Not to mention the COMPLAINING about shadow Milk getting a 3rd costume when he won second for coty so of course it's a legendary one (it makes sense given its importance to lore). It's a POPULARITY poll. He was gonna get SOMETHING (he continues to serve in every costume 💅)
As well as people declaring white Lily's death for "nothing" if she's just gonna get revived later. I swear I'm pulling teeth in the trenches here.

Don’t even get me started on white lily either, her death DIRECTLY led to the death of dark enchantress and the end to the second dark flour war
And even if she does end up being revived, this would be her gaining freedom from dark enchantress cookie and being able to redo everything with the entirety of her soul
New update trailer yk what that means (crk fans being purposefully dense so they can hate the game)
Number 1: “it makes no sense why shadow milk would be the academy’s headmaster”
White lily and pure vanilla are thousands of years old, there could very well have been overlap between smc being headmaster and them being students, also, since the costume is THE FIRST HEADMASTER, it could very well be that smc sounded the magic academy
Number 2: “pure vanilla is going to hijack another white lily update”
The two of them have been entwined narratively since their literal first appearances, pure vanilla is the only one powerful enough to enter Tartarus and the only one with a good enough reason to go looking for her
Number 3: “ANOTHER LEGENDARY I HATE GRINDING WAAAAAHHH”

Ok I think the reason why everyone and their mama is whining abt crk rn is profound laziness and a lack of attention span
Any cookie that’s a rarity above epic, any new story chapter, and any changes to the meta requires ‘work’ (and I use that term lightly) that may not yield the desired result straight away and that upsets people because they want instant gratification

We have had five updates this year (dark enchantress war, kpdh collab, timeline of fate, SCOOP and dragontongue song), and we’ve had FIVE epic cookies release this year from just three of those updates
The only reason that two of those updates haven’t had an epic release is
1. The kpdh collab had 3 specials, none of which are any stronger than the average epic
2. Ananas didn’t release with an epic because the cookie they’re most commonly associated with (mango) is ALREADY IN THE GAME

This is a game about cookies, the main character is called gingerbrave, he has a candy cane and lives in the cookie kingdom with his two best friends strawberry cookie and wizard cookie and the antagonists for half of crispia was a werewolf cupcake and licorice cookie
I do fear that the game itself is fundamentally silly and that they’re going to do silly, and even corny things and that is OKAY !!!!!! It’s part of the charm of crk and there’s nothing wrong with it

I don’t understand why everyone seem to get amnesia between each filler update, there are VERY few filler updates in CRK that have zero bearing on the lore
The whole point of SCOOP was to expand on the inner workings of the TBD, and help ease the transition between SMC and the introduction of Ananas Dragon (and by proxy all the dragons) through the corrupted legendaries
Okay so now that I’ve bled chapter 5 for all it’s worth

I really like Ananas Dragons voice so lemme take it too seriously from a narrative perspective
I think it’s a beautiful contrast with Pitaya’s more high pitched and draconic-sounding voice, and I really do enjoy the fact that they don’t sound as draconic as Pitaya does
It’s a combo of 2 things for me: Ananas has a ludicrous ego, and I don’t think they’d sound draconic because they believe that their energy is enough for ppl to know they’re a dragon, but I also think they’ve just spent so much time around cookie’s that they’ve dropped the hiss
