Weird Blue Thing is Back!

Bionicle, when it wanted to, was actually really good at foreshadowing the Big Robot Reveal pretty early on tbh. The supermetal bedrock at the bottom of the island preventing them from digging deeper, the existence of beings that destroy the island completely for seemingly no reason stored deep underground, the two moon skylights in metru nui, etc.

the problem with society is nobody makes sprite comics on BZPower where they blow up the guest stars anymore.

Bionicle existed to ask the important questions like "what if the Air Force fought vampires in a nuclear reactor?"

the Bionicle Stars were (rightly) shamed for numerous reasons but that new foot element they added is, frankly just a really satisfying shape and texture?

like yeah, it only has two connection points, and they might be a bit tricky to make use of, but it's just a fun piece, kinda wish i had more than two of them.

i know 2025 is a weirdly late time to think about this but the matoran letters being primarily made up of circles is Really Nifty given being a technic subtheme left bionicle with a visual motif of repeated, uniform circular holes in everything.
