Boku no Natsuyasumi (2000)
Ice Troll (Type: Ice) They are so ill-suited to their environment, they eventually developed a form of symbiosis with the ever-present common cold virus - though it is unclear exactly what the troll gains from it. Their day job involves transporting huge blocks of ice for use as building materials.
Stone Troll Larva Post-decapitation regrowth is a slow process. Sometimes humbled, often bitter, stray troll heads may at least offer directions to enemies of their vanquisher.
Stone Troll (Type: Rock)
Even if decapitated, they’re capable of regrowing from just a head in a little over a decade. They don’t like doing it though.
Shallotling (Type: Grass)
They don’t like to be alone, so they stick together in groups of three or more. Some cluster so tight they grow connected.
Sprunion (Type: Grass)
Its rubbery legs belie an impressive sprinting ability. The best way to catch one is to make it stop short: its high centre of gravity will cause it to flip right over.
They’re easily bested in combat, but the emotional toll of cutting one down would leave even a hardened swordsman in tears.
Grunion (Type: Grass / Ground)
They love to surprise travellers by popping out of the ground. Seasoned woodsmen will nip it in the bud with a preemptive bonk on the head.
Ambrosaur (Type: Dragon / Rock)
The bloodsucker inside it was trapped in sticky tree sap millennia ago. It reconstructed a body using the dinosaur DNA in its last meal.

Foresty Things
Strange things started to grow at the crash site. But not as strange as what was inside the fallen star.
