                𝗵𝗲  𝘀𝗮𝘁  𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲  𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗱𝘀𝘁  𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀  𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼  ,  mind  everywhere  else  but  kurasame's  lecture.  the  class  that  he  once  looked  forward  to  had  now  become  an  agonizing  reminder  of  what  he  had  lost  to  some  red  haired  mistress.  ah  ,  but  perhaps  the  warning  sign  had  been  there  from  the  start.  after  all  ,  having  ice  reaper  as  a  moniker  should  have  made  it  blatantly  obvious  what  he'd  be  in  for.

his  thoughts  eventually  drifted  back  to  ace  &  how  the  blond  had  made  him  feel  earlier.  now  that  he  thought  about  it  ,  there  had  been  other  instances  where  the  guy  had  made  him  feel  odd  (  in  a  good  way  )  ,  &  if  he  were  being  honest  ,  it  felt  nearly  the  same  to  how  kurasame  made  him  feel  once  upon  a  time  before  he  went  off  to  his  new  lover.

tilting  his  head  back  ,  he  stared  up  at  the  ceiling  whilst  pondering  what  to  do.  in  the  end  ,  he  decided  it  would  probably  be  best  if  he  stopped  coming  to  class  altogether  &  spent  his  time  running  around  orience  searching  for  UM's.  he  didn't  want  to  see  the  tribune  /  didn't  want  to  end  up  falling  apart  in  class.  thus  ,  as  soon  as  the  lecture  was  over  ,  he  bolted  out  of  the  classroom  &  went  looking  for  the  golden  boy.

after  a  couple  of  minutes  ,  he  caught  sight  of  familiar  golden  locks  &  immediately  ran  towards  the  cadet  ,  hand  reaching  out  to  grab  their  crimson  cape  somewhat  desperately.  ❝  ace  ,  wait  i  ——  need  to  talk  to  you.  i  don't  ——  let's  leave.  let's  go  somewhere  else.  i  can't  be  here  anymore  .  .  .  ❞

                𝗵𝗲  𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆  𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱  𝗮𝘁  𝗵𝗲𝗿  whilst  she  finished  the  final  touches  to  his  bouquet.  there  was  something  about  her  attitude  that  seemingly  exhausted  him.  perhaps  it  was  because  he  used  to  be  like  that  once  upon  a  time  ,  &  now  ,  it  was  nearly  impossible  for  him  to  match  such  energy  (  not  like  he  wanted  to  anyways.  )

a  hum  of  acknowledgement  was  given  as  she  told  him  her  name  ,  &  he  silently  debated  whether  or  not  he  should  introduce  himself  in  turn.  albeit  ,  if  he  didn't  ,  he'd  come  off  as  rude  &  that  wouldn't  do.  not  when  this  was  the  only  flower  shop  that  was  peaceful.  ❝  a  pleasant  name  ——  you  can  just  address  me  by  my  last  name  ,  susaya.  ❞  giving  her  a  dismissive  wave  ,  he  shook  his  head.  ❝  no  need  to  apologize.  it's  fine.  ❞

someone  talking  his  ear  off  wasn't  out  of  the  norm  for  him.  although  ,  it  was  usually  his  manager  or  secretary  going  on  about  meetings  ,  photo  shoots  ,  or  tv  appearances.  all  things  he  didn't  really  care  for  &  things  his  personal  bodyguard  often  told  him  to  pay  more  attention  to.  taking  out  a  hundred  bill  from  his  pocket  ,  he  silently  handed  it  over  to  her.  ❝  don't  worry  about  the  change  ,  keep  it.  i  need  to  get  going.  see  you.  ❞

                𝗵𝗲  𝗹𝗲𝘁  𝗼𝘂𝘁  𝗮  𝗵𝘂𝗺  ,  uncertain  if  whether  he  liked  being  recognized  by  her  or  not.  to  be  honest  ,  he  thought  he'd  just  be  another  face  amid  the  shop  ,  someone  not  worth  remembering  (  it  would  make  things  so  much  easier.  )  at  the  very  least  ,  she  didn't  recognize  him  enough  to  know  who  he  actually  was.  for  now  ,  he  was  just  a  regular  here.

AFFECTIONATE AND  AFFIRMING  PROMPTS ; @vancreux 

                𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗮  𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱  ,  slender  fingers  gently  running  through  lelouch's  hair  as  the  geass  wielder  lay  beside  him  in  bed.  it  was  hard  for  him  to  discern  whether  the  other's  words  were  genuine  or  not  given  their  circumstances.  he  would  have  liked  to  believe  they  were  ,  in  fact  ,  genuine.  sadly  ,  knowing  lelouch  ,  he  knew  they were pretty  words  being  tossed  his  way  sans  a  care  in  the  word just  to  get  on  his  good  side. not that he cared , he always did the same thing to the guy as well. it meant nothing , surely.

❝  oh  ?  are  you  saying  you'll  never  get  bored  of  me  ?  you  shouldn't  say  such  things  lightly  ,  you  know.  it  could  give  the  wrong  idea.  ❞  a  soft  sigh  left  his  lips  ,  oceanic  hues  glancing  down  at  his  partner  in  crime  with  a  mixture  of  curiosity  &  indifference.  for  someone  like  him  ,  getting  involved  with  mortals  often  led  to  trouble.  yet  ,  he  couldn't  help  but  notice  the  fire  in  the  black  haired  male's  eyes  when  they  first  met.  lelouch  wanted  revenge  /  wanted  answers  /  wanted  to  bring  about  a  new  era.

what  folly.  no  matter  where  he  went  ,  war  was  always  present  ,  but  in  the  end  ,  one  question  always  remained  ;  did  the  end  justify  the  means  ?  he  was  no  stranger  to  such  things  /  no  stranger  to  revolution  ,  &  he  knew  true  justice  &  peace  often  required  profound  sacrifice.  he  wondered  how  much  lelouch  could  take  before  he  broke  into  a  million  pieces  /  before  the  weight  of  his  sins  dragged  him  down  the  deep  end.

ah  ,  but  wasn't  he  the  one  to  keep  lelouch  afloat  ?  /  the  one  who  would  follow  him  no  matter  what  path  he  chose  ?  to  offer  unwavering  support  &  anything  the  other  male  needed  along  his  bloody  path  ?  how  funny  it  was  that  divinity  would  be  marred  by  sin  due  to  a  mortal.  he  could  leave  anytime  he  wanted  ,  void  their  pact  whenever  ——  but  he  always  chose  to  stay  ,  if  only  because  the  geass  wielder  seemed  so  lonely  all  the  time.

                𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰  𝗵𝘂𝗲𝘀  𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱  ,  silently  studying  the  male  in  front  of  him.  the  guy  was  lelouch's  childhood  friend  if  he  recalled  correctly  ,  &  from  the  looks  of  it  ,  he  was  seemingly  observing  him  as  well.  the  wheels  of  destiny  had  already  begun  to  move  ,  &  his  destiny  was  one  he  didn't  want  to  get  too  involved  with.  after  all  ,  lelouch  came  first  due  to  their  pact.

before  he  could  speak  however  ,  a  role  had  already  been  placed  upon  him  by  the  other  /  a  role  he  would  play  to  the  best  of  his  abilities.  ❝  eh  ?  but  you  know  curiosity  killed  the  cat  ,  right  ?  ❞  adorable  tilt  of  his  head  ,  big  ,  round  eyes  blinking  slowly  before  smiling  (  or  was  it  a  smirk  ?  )  ❝  mm  ?  yeah  ,  that's  right  ,  me  &  lulu  are  friends.  oh  !  were  you  curious  about  the  rumors  ?  ❞

A LOVE THAT TRANSCENDS TIME & LOGIC ???

quad.ratum , being the world of purga.tory it is , is full of surprises. some of which take so.ra completely off-guard / some of which take so.ra for a ride down memory lane. for better or for worse. during his time in quad.ratum , he came a cross a man who oddly enough hit him like a wave of nostalgia and familiarity. he found it quite suspicious as he had never once met this person before , or at the very least , didn't recall ever doing so.

their icy eyes glanced at him with gentleness. it was as if he knew so.ra / knew who he was / knew everything about him before he himself could figure himself out. he could only guess as to who this mysterious man standing before him was. his face mask added a layer of mystery to his already cool aura. albeit , one question kept repeating itself in his mind ; is he someone i can trust ?

HEART.BINDER V2

despite his various vices and plunge into darkness , so.ra still possess a radiant and pure light. he is light itself , and in past instances , it had already been hinted that he was more than a mere mortal. xig.bar was the one who revealed this to him during the ke.yblade war and was made evident when he had to collect the various pieces of his soul and was able to enter olym.pus coliseum with the other go.ds.

because he holds so much love for others and humanity , he was able to evolve his hear.tbinder into a portal of pure light. this newfound power enabled him to reach the souls of those who fell in the first ever keyb.lade war and ask for their assistance in battle. the souls of those previous keyb.lade wielders take on the form of their keyb.lades which so.ra then uses to surf around the battlefield for a tactical advantage against his enemies.

even with this new upgrade to his heart.binder , it still possesses the previous abilities of granting so.ra the power to summon forth allies who he formed a bond with to his side such as a.riel , her.cules , his drea.meaters , and the floo.ds he made with va.nitas.

SO.RA'S EARPIECE & WATCH

so.ra's earpiece is the prototype version of his IRIS System. during his time in quadra.tum when he wasn't engrossed in his vices, he put time into developing new gear as well as synth.esizing new weapons. the more weapons and gear he had at his disposal, the faster he'd be able to leave purgato.ry.

this IRIS System prototype enabled easier communication betwixt him and the other party sans the struggle of having to juggle betwixt his phone and weapon in his hands out on the battlef.ield. it is connected to the rol.ex watch on his left wrist , a watch he modified specifically for the prototype IRIS system he created. the watch is nigh indestructible as it was made from not only oricha.lcum , but other strong metals from various words he originally visited.

with his hands free and a simple push of a button on his watch , it's easy for him to keep in touch while battling enemies with those he's in communication with. the watch itself is built with other features besides calling such as the standard date/time , enemy compendium , access to his inventory/other weapons , and maps. as his journey continued in quad.ratum , more features were added.

                𝗵𝗲  𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿  𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱  𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲  𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱  finding  a  place  like  this  amidst  the  land  that  was  nothing  more  than  a  battlefield  to  them.  why  ,  when  shin  had  offered  to  take  him  somewhere  ,  he  assumed  it  would  be  a  simple  hill  to  gaze  upon  the  stars.  what  a  surprise  it  had  been  when  he  found  it  to  be  anything  but.

they  had  sneaked  by  the  legion  ,  passing  over  mountains  &  desolate  wastelands  until  they  had  reached  this  secret  ,  hidden  location.  it  was  nothing  he  had  ever  seen  before  ,  water  as  far  as  the  eye  could  see  &  glistening  sand  that  temped  him  to  put  it  into  his  mouth.  ah  ,  but  shin  made  sure  to  keep  an  eye  on  him  so  he  didn't  (  a  shame  as  he  wanted  to  make  a  core  memory  he  could  look  back  on  &  laugh  about.  )

❝  naturally  !  this  is  the  first  time  we've  seen  the  ocean  &  been  to  a  beach  !  of  course  i'd  want  to  shove  sand  into  my  mouth  &  drink  some  ocean  water  ——  it'd  be  something  to  remember  to  ages  !  ❞  a  radiant  smile  was  given  to  shin  ,  one  that  he  hid  from  everyone  on  a  daily  basis  as  it  was  only  his  reaper  that  was  privy  to  his  true  self  much  like  their  true  nature  was  only  privy  to  him.

that  ever  radiant  smile  only  grew  as  the  reaper  placed  a  seemingly  gorgeous  shell  in  his  hands.  a  gift  /  a  treasure  ,  one  cementing  the  fact  that  this  was  all  real  &  not  just  a  dream  /  one  cementing  the  fact  that  even  amidst  bloodshed  &  war  ,  there  was  halcyon  days  to  look  forward  to.  sighing  happily  ,  he  held  the  shell  close  to  his  chest  before  pressing  himself  up  against  the  other  male.

❝  i'll  follow  you  wherever  you  go  ,  so  don't  go  somewhere  i  can't  follow.  ❞  with  that  ,  he  shifted  in  order  to  place  a  kiss  upon  shin's  lips.  if  loving  shin  was  wrong  ,  then  he  didn't  want  to  be  right  /  if  saving  shin  was  a  sin  ,  then  he'd  gladly  become  a  sinner.  oceanic  hues  stared  at  his  partner  with  utmost  gentleness  &  affection.  ❝  we  should  get  back  to  the  others  before  the  legion  decide  to  attack.  ❞
