"Right now?" He paused, turning to look at the wall of the library, to check the arrow. Navigating Zone 2 was always a pain in the patootie. Well, judging from the direction the arrow was pointing,
"I think you're heading for the residential district?" His mun really needed to replay Off and take notes on how to navigate Zone 2 for RP references.

Oh, what a pleasant-looking elsen! The floral tie was a bit odd, but then again, wasn't Kyle's coat and hat? The moment Kyle spotted the odd candy-munching elsen, he lifted a hand in greeting.
"Hello. Is there maybe a thing I can help you with?"

The train was fascinating. Kyle hadn't really seen one before, preferring to travel mostly on foot, but in his current condition, safer travel might be best. The elsen paused to rub at his stinging eyes, then inched closer to the huge machine, admiring it, imagining how far it could take people. It was a perfect vehicle for an adventure. Now the question is, was there someone to drive it? Adjusting his hat, he looked about, trying to find someone, reaching out to press a palm to the metal beast.
"Another successful delivery!" With a skip in his step, The Conductor approached his train, swiping the dust off his gloves.
It wasnât until he caught a rather familiar scent that the tall being stopped in his tracks, watching a small Elsen wander about and touch the train. Knowing Elsen, they meant no harm unless they did that odd smokey-thing, right? He figured rushing to conclusions here would make things worse. âGreetings, hello! My apologies for not arrving sooner!â
He waved a hand, approaching the Elsen slow and calm, hoping his sudden appearance wouldnât startle him.
Oh, on his person? Kyle shifted his coat a bit, pulling his sword out.
"Thereâs my sword? But⊠Thatâs just so I can defend myself." He gave the limp thing a slight wiggle, then set to tucking it back away in his belt. "I⊠Donât know if that counts or not."
Ding ding ding! There it was! He didnât want to point it out, in fear of worrying the Elsen, but now âseeingâ it would make things easier.
"Ahâ unfortunately, it does count. I will have to ask for it, if you do not mind." Nodding nervously, he lets one of his add-ons slither out, and slowly approach near the Elsen with itâs palm open, ready to take the sword away.
"I cannot allow any violence on this train, weaponry included, but do not worry, do not worry at all! You may retrieve your items after departure! They will be handled carefully, I promise you that."
"Oh..." Kyle was reluctant to relinquish his weapon, but if the rules stated he had to do so to ride, then... Okay. Drawing a deep and rattling breath, he steeled himself enough to drop the plastic sword into the smoky palm. Was it smoke? It sure seemed like it, with the ever-shifting amorphous shape.
And, of course, there went his confidence, a wave of panic rushing through him. No no, calm down, the train was a safe place, right? He didn't need his sword. Besides, the Conductor's job was to make sure nothing bad happened to his train, passengers included, right? Right.

He picked a seat and sat, moving his sword and coat out of the way. He lifted his gaze as the taller male poked in, and nodded⊠Shook his head. Uh⊠Maybe a verbal response would be best for the onslaught of questionsâŠ
"Itâs⊠Yes, itâs very nice, no I didnât bring anything else. Thank you." Which was actually an accident on his part. Heâd bought a backpack before, he really should have been getting into the habit of using it during his adventures.
"So⊠What⊠Times is the train usuallyâŠ. Hhh⊠Places?"
"Well⊠the train departs after all is wrapped up here! I believe we are behind schedule." He laughs nervously, but continues to stare.
"Are you⊠certain there is nothing else on your person? I must inform you, liars are not tolerated, not tolerated at all, and there is quite a long list of rules and punishments to be tolled out should any complications arise during departure. Iâ the double checking is only for safety, I assure you. Only for safety."
Oh, on his person? Kyle shifted his coat a bit, pulling his sword out.

As he was hauled to his feet, he followed Izzyâs finger, spotting the second whale. He gave a very small âohâ, and tugged his sword from his belt.
"Do⊠Do we fight it?"
She opened her mouth to speak, but shut it, glancing at the whale and back to Kyle, giving a sharp inhale.
Kyle tore his gaze from the whale, to look to Izzy. She⊠Wasnât answering. Maybe she was scared. That seemed reasonable enough.
"Do we?"
She stared at the elsen. âDo you trust me?â She asked, placing her hands on his shoulders.
"Why⊠Wouldnât I?" That was a strange thing to ask⊠After all, they were doing this together as it were, and she had sort of just pulled him out from inside of a whale.Â
"Good!" There was no way he would have expected what happened next. She hugged him close and jumped.
She jumped off the whale.
Falling from the roof and onto the whale had been scary. This? This was ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING. And the poor elsen didn't even know how to react! He ended up tensing, unmoving as Izzy wrapped her arms around him and dove off the whale's back. He could think of only one thing as they were sent freefalling;
He should probably learn to set boundaries in terms of his trust.
Confession
Kyle is what my name would have been if I had been born a boy. I have used the name both for my Elsen, and for the self-insert male!me Pokemon trainer who instead became his own character.
Would all the steaks be yours, or should people try to steak their claim?
I would have to give them away because I have nowhere I can keep them.

âKye! Kye are ya in there?â She shouted. Nothingness knows what made her think taking on
three flying whales was a good idea. Now her friend was inside one of the three flying whales.
On hands and knees, Kyle blindly felt about the slimy âfloorâ, until finally his fingers brushed against the familiar texture of his swordâs hilt. He gave a sound of elation, relief flooding though him. Now he could take on anything! Except⊠How did he get out, now?
His gaze lifted upwards, where he could see light, the opening above expanding and contracting as the whale breathed. But what was that? He could have sword he heard something from up there⊠Oh⊠Oh, Izzy!
"Iâm okay," He called, "and I⊠I got my sword back!"
Thank goodness! âYouâre gonna gimmie a heart attack someday, yâknow that Kye?â She sighed, relieved. âBut how are we gonna getcha outta there?â She called into the blowhole. âYagh!â The whale gave a sharp turn, nearly shaking her off.
"Well-" Kyle had begun to stand, but was thrown from him feet from the abrupt movement, landing flat on his face. Ew⊠Slowly, he pushed himself back up.
"Well," He tried again, "I guess I could maybe try to⊠Climb? Or⊠No, no hhhh thatâs a terrible idea. Going through the mouth, I meanâŠ"
Horrible idea alert! âAre ya crazy!? The dang thingâs got teeth! What if it crushes ya!?â
Lightbulb moment âWhat if I lower Tass through the blow hole? Would that work?â She shouted. Tassel, on the other hand, did not like this idea.
"It might?" Would that work? He wasnât so sure about that. If it didnât, there was still one exceedingly unpleasant option left.
He⊠Didnât want to think about that.
Izzy forced the end of her scarf down the blowhole with her staff. âTass! You! Get! In! You! Need! To! Save! Kye!â
Kyle stretched to reach up, trying to take hold of the presumably sassy scarf. Just a bit more⊠A bit more⊠Almost⊠Aaand there went the whale, abruptly changing directions again as it circles the skyscraper of a library.
"Eeeek! Kye! Hurry up!" Shouted Izzy, clinging on for dear life. This was a VERY bad idea.
"Sorry!" He scrambled back to his feet, hopping slightly to try and reach again. This time, his fingers closed around fabric.Â
"I think I have it," He called up, gripping with both hands.
While Tassel did not enjoy the contact, he did appreciate getting out of there. Eventually, Izzy was able o pull Kyle out. "Gotcha!"
