Sokka’s story is one of humility, endurance, change, and triumph, something that can be easily forgotten if you just look on the surface of his character. You can not brush aside this development as if it was nothing - it was tangible and very critical to his character.

Events that really allow Sokka to shine, both the good and bad, strike a surprising emotional chord that resonates. He makes mistakes, but he learns from them, to become a better person and a truly great warrior.

Tightrope is such a heartbreaking song for so many reasons. Like damn.

Literally Charity is just talking about how some people are cautious and scared in life but she would literally follow Phineas off into the great unknown.

How she took his hand and it was an adventure from there. They both promised to never let go of each other.

Never knowing how hard or how far they could fall, but it’s okay because of everything of they’re getting to experience and because she has him.

But the line that gets me every damn time is “never sure, will you catch me if I should fall?”

Guys, he let go. Phineas let go. And he left her alone to go be on tour with Jenny.

And now she literally doesn’t know if the man she has risked everything for is going to be there for her in the end.

She doesn’t know if he will catch her. Because he let go.

This song messes me up. Because when you sit down and really listen to it, it’s so sad. My heart breaks for Charity every time.
