Lucy smiled as she sat looking at the book of appointments, so they were at long last tying that knot. They would be arriving any moment... she picked up her warm mug of coffee and drank a sip, so strange being in this mortal form, and needing such a bitter beverage to power it. Needing to eat, sleep, but it was worth biding her time. Soon, soon, Vlad’s body would be theirs.... Soon.
Honey frowned as she glared at the office where they were meeting their wedding planner, honey hadn't wanted to relinquish control of her wedding to anyone else but after a bit of encouraging from others and the idea of now having to plan for a new baby hellion she finally gave in and had kit schedule her a wedding planner appointment.
"you know we have plenty of friends who would gladly take over instead of a total stranger" honey offered looking at vlad with a big puppy pout
“I know but I don’t want them stressing over any of this, after all we aren’t just any couple, my darling bride you are the Sweetheart of SeaCoast City.” Vlad kissed her cheek.
“Oh you’re here,” she stood up and reached out a hand, “Lucille Van Damnderschmidt.” She smiled sweet smile. “May I congratulate you on your move to the next big step in life.”
Honey still pouted at vlad her shoulders slumping in defeat as the woman came to greet them and honey offered a polite smile
"it's so nice to meet you, I'm raelia honeystone you can call me honey and this is my fiance vlad" honey introduce putting on her false sweetness that she was so wonderful at
Lucy smiled and gestured to a cooler, “is there anything I can get for you to drink? Tea? Coffee? We have an assortment of drinks to choose from.” She looked over Vlad and Honey, “and then we can get down to the details of your wedding.”
Honey wanted to say wine, she already missed wine especially when she was stressed like she was
"just some water is fine thank you," honey said there was something off about this place and she didn't like it especially where she couldn't place or really
“Very well dear and you?” She asked looking to Jlad while she got a bottle of water.
“I’ll take a water as well,” Vlad said ever the supportive fiancé.
“Alright now, then let’s run ideas and figure out what the budget is to work with.” She pulled out a notepad and motioned for them to follow her to the office.
"money isn't a problem, so as long as it's to our liking there isn't any worry about a price tag" honey assured her she was a queen after all and ran a fashion empire nothing wrong there
"I think vlad was looking for something traditional and I enjoy that as well but I also tend to be much more dramatic as well" honey said she looked at vlad for approval of her own assumptions
Vlad nodded, “so in other words elegant, and sophisticated with a bit of flair? Is that the word?”
“I believe it is,” Lucy took notes dutifully while sighing internally at their son who was oblivious to their presence being ever more an ignorant fool. Honestly how had the boy maintained the throne so long with so few a brain cell to spark an idea from. “And were we thinking outdoors? Or a location? What level of travel are you inclined to take?”
“Local, maybe a wedding inside of my family home would be nice it is a large place or perhaps we could be wed at the observatory garden? It is lovely and they have so many rose bushes.” Vlad suggested.
What an absolutely soft hearted boy, Lucy thought to themselves.
"outdoor wedding and hopefully an option to move indoor if it rains, I think the observatory sounds nice and the historical society has a nice view of the ocean as well if we need more options" honey said she had an entire book of scoped out locations back at the office, she was pretty sure Kit's entire job outside of the school lately had been helping her research wedding crap, she owed him a very large gift for all he'd done
“Mmm sounds like a plan,” Lucy finished the notes, “and how many guests are we thinking?”
“Probably 30? So not that big of a wedding it isn’t a public event nor to be publicized. Just the close friends and their children.” Vlad suggested.
