You’ll find the right path: sooner or later
i’m not really into writing, but this one inspire me so much about future.
so, i’m in my fourth year of college, and currently have to do a research for getting a degree. then, i got some lecturers that helped me to do this. and, that’s where the inspiration started.
last night, i came to one of them, who works at my uni med centre. actually, i was there to accompany one of my friend, we got same lecturer to help our research. we waited until the last patient, and finally we met the lecturer. he asked about how our research progress going, and let us know which part that we have to improve. in the middle of our conversation, the assistant came so our conversation was cut. after all patients done, he invite us to follow him. and whattttt turns out he invite us to have dinner in front of the med centre. it was four of us, one of them is the assistant which is also people from my uni, the senior exactly. then, it was the conversation that inspire me the most, even though me and my friend was a bit awkward there bcs it was the first ever being in such an informal situation with them.
after getting our warm lemon tea, and cold for some of them, the chats getting more interesting. he told us about the tips about how his life going till now. it was like a recipe---a secret recipe---sounds simple but turns out amazing. it was about how we should not look at something with ‘horse glasses’, that we should see everything from every side. like even though something seems small or little, if you can figure out how it will going, then BAM, you’ll get everything, with such a minimal action. it’s about how smart you are on finding chance, that with just four our five, your dream to buy your father another car will be come true. that’s the first thing came up in my mind, after i heard that. and it makes me sure, that i’m currently taking the right path, even though before it feels a bit wrong. like trapped. like it’s so long. and also, that being the civil worker isn’t everything---which already in my mind even before this. when you work on your own, when you stand in your own feet, when you do it right, it would bring you such a pleasure, and getting what you want in your life, without another’s command, but your own decision.
another story is about how our uni going, what’s wrong with our uni, and how the people in our uni behave. it wasn’t a good thing, but such a good information, because i wont hope anymore. it just made my mind straight to my goals. that it wont affect me, no matter how it will be. he told us, we just have to follow everything that going. like riding a bicycle, when there’s a little obstruction, you ride may be shaken a little bit, but that wont stop you, you still going there, you’ll still be there. then you can stand on your own feet, not being trapped, not being attached to some annoying rules. and have a happy life.
in my heart, i talked last night, thank you so much. thank you to my 1st lecturer that choose this lecturer as another examiner for my research. thanks to God for giving me a chance to meet such an amazing and inspiring person, and also have an amazing conversation everytime we meet. and thanks to Mr. lecturer, for his willingness to help us, and share some amazing story to us. alhamdulillah.
i wish everything will be alright, and i can be a cutest daughter who makes my parents happy. and travel to an amazing places together with them, Aamiiin :)
