the elytra popped out SO nicely but i ended up just keeping the right elytron open. the left wing was really damaged (it even worse looking under the elytron than what you can see here) and i’m not confident with wing repairs, so… gonna leave it be so i don’t damage it more. would’ve loved to have them both extended, though :^(
