Day 28/30 Painter: Blue Dahmer

ART is the weapon. Your imagination is the ammunition. Stay dirty, and stay dangerous. Create and destroy as you see fit.

I’m not a professional painter, but I use it as a way to relax, so I invest my free time painting whatever comes to my mind. Breen and Ten are also very good at painting, so we can usually be found painting at the small art studio in B and Ky’s house.

Day 27/30 Vintage Chic: Brooks Mendoza

I haven't been afraid since I've known you.

My grandmother always had these dresses lying around, and as she showed them to me, she would tell me stories about her childhood and youth. I loved to listen to her and spend time with her. Now that I don’t have much free time, I miss her a lot, but I got some of her dresses and accesories, so when I need to feel close to her, I wear those.

Day 26/30 Festival Chick: Blue (Or should we say Pink?) & Ten

I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music.

These pics were taken last year on Breen’s beach house before we headed for a music fest. Although I personally am more of a Warped Tour person myself, I decided to give it a go. And boy, was it a new experience.

As always, Blue decided to go against the mainstream and wore her 30 seconds to mars necklace, which, miraculously, she didn’t lose. The sunglasses however, got lost when it was nearly over. We thought they would survive, but they didn’t. When we got back home, she spent days trying to get new ones that were the same.

Another reason why I won’t go to those festivals again. Or maybe I will, but not in the near future.

Day 25/30 Dancing Queen: Brooks Mendoza

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.

My name is Brooks Mendoza, I am Ten’s girlfriend, and I’m here because I am the only one in the group with a tragic backstory about dancing queens.

When I was in highschool, my class decided to recreate “Mamma mia!” for mother’s day, so, for a month (give or take) the only songs I listened to were ABBA songs. So every time I hear the words dancing queen, the song gets stuck in my head and I want to punch something.

After such traumatic event, I thought I’d never dance again. 8 years later, I have my own dance studio where I teach people of all ages. But we never dance to ABBA.

Now that I think about it, it is like a super villain’s backstory. Like Darth Vader or Voldemort or Kylo Ren.

Day 24/30 Rock Lover: Kyla Reedus

Darling, my attitude is ‘fuck it’; I’m doing everything with everyone.

I grew up in a household full of music. I had my mom, who would blast opera at unholy hours to wake the whole family up for breakfast, even on sundays. On school days, my dad would take me and my cousin to school in his old car and would put some rock music. He loved to tell us stories about the band he once started with mom, her brother and one of their friends. At school, kids would listen to pop music, and once I was back home, I’d go to the house library to do some homework, while my uncle listened to some jazz while he studied. So I like many types of music. But I guess my dad’s love for rock stuck with me. So here I am, wearing my favorite shirt of my favorite rock band: Muse. Those are the lyrics of one of their most known songs, Starlight, which was also the first song I ever learned to play.

Day 23/30 Date Night: Ten & Blue

Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow.

So, we were going out last night. We had it all planned, I had even picked an outfit for Blue.

Because you don’t like that I wear too much black, which I think is FINE.

To the point. We were ready, our dates were supposed to come pick us up and in the mean time, Blue decided to watch Harry Potter. We had already started, actually, but we decided to just watch a few minutes of “The Goblet of Fire”

Then Brooks came by and she sat with us to watch while we waited for Dean, who joined us once he was here. Long story short, the four of us, dressed in fancy clothes, were lying on the couch watching Harry Potter and crying, instead of going out on a fancy date.

But, honestly, I think it was cute. I’d even dare to say that it was better than going out. And now we know that they are perfect for us, since they all like Harry Potter.

Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It's not about brands. It's about something else that comes from within you.

Ok, so we have 0 excuses for our abscence, but after something around two weeks,we’re back!

Now, this day required clothing with exotic prints, and yeah, cats are not that exotic, but I really like this print. It’s cutesy and it reminds me of my favorite cat in the whole planet, Millicent (Ky and B’s cat) In general I love cats, so I decided to also wear my cat necklace and earrings to match my dress.

Day 19/30 Office Style: Breen Hunter

Nothing ever comes to one, that is worth having, except as a result of hard work.

Hello everyone. My name is Breen Hunter, I’m a 26 years old writer from Ireland, and apparently, the only person in this group who has been to an office before.

Although I didn’t work that much time at an office, they considered that I was the one who would know more about office style, and certainly I do.

I used to work for my father, who owns a company back at Ireland, and there was of course, a dress code. This is somehow close to what I used to wear, except from the necklace. We weren’t actually allowed to use accesories asides from tiny earrings.

Day 18/30 Alternative: Kyla Reedus

I hope that when the world comes to an end, I can breathe a sigh of relief, because there will be so much to look forward to.

Hello there, I’m Kyla Reedus. Tattoo artist, part time model, Supernatural enthusiast, full time Blue and Ten’s friend and I’m here to show you what they thought was an alternative look.

I don’t normally wear these clothes, since there’s still in this world some people who will look at you weirdly for wearing things that are not “common”, but still, I’ll do it for a photoshoot if asked. I actually like them.

And well, they told me “introduce yourself, let them know you”... Eh, well, I’m 23 years old, I’ve been friends with Blue since we’re 9 and with Ten since I’m 18. I live in a quite big house, which was given to my preppy and rich girlfriend, Breen Hunter by her grandmother. We have a cat, called Millicent, who adores Breen but kinda hates me.

I mostly spend my free time drawing (most of the time on my own skin) and listening to music.

Day 17/30 Book Geek: Blue Dahmer

What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.

Books are really beautiful. They can take you places that exist only in the mind of the writer and, while you read the story, also exist inside your own mind. It is for me a sad thought that there are books I won’t read. Because they were eliminated and there were no copies left, because I won’t be able to find them all or because they’ve not been written yet and I will not be alive when it happens. But it is fine. I read as many books as I can and try not to think about it.

Now you’ll say “But she doesn’t look like a book geek”. Well, book geeks come in different shapes and sizes but we all share the same love for books.

Day 16/30 Work Out Time!: Ten & Blue

I always felt that my greatest asset was not my physical ability, it was my mental ability.

Ten is ALWAYS forcing me to go out. I can’t sit down comfortably to read because she’s a sports psycho. We usually go to run at the park and I’m always wearing the same stuff, since I’m not really into sports I don’t have the clothes to do it. Ten lets me borrow pants and I use my favorite Fall Out Boy shirt (I bought two, so I don’t mind if one gets ruined)

Maybe if you went running with me more than once a week you’d enjoy it. It’s pretty fun and waking up earlier means that you will be awake more hours a day and you’ll do more stuff. Like, I don’t know, cry for Han Solo and write sonets about Leia and Luke and how pretty they are.

I DO THAT AND I WAKE UP AT 11. Either way, if you, like me, struggle with a roommate who likes to drag you out of the bed at 6 a.m to go running in circles, I would love to recommend some songs that help me survive. I mostly listen to Fall Out Boy and recently I’ve just gotten WAY TOO obsessed with Jack White, so “Would you fight for my love” and “I’m shakin’” are really helpful.
