CHARITY AUCTION TIME!
So this Thanksgiving I’m thankful for the people on the frontlines, fighting for their rights, their history & heritage, and for the environment. Specifically the brave men and women at Standing Rock. I wanted to use my small voice to help in some way, and I was hoping some of you might as well. I am going to do a silent auction for a few of the rarer books I’ve made, from my personal collection. Below is a list of what the items I am auctioning off are and some photos of them. Nothing too crazy, but a few of these fetch a decent price on eBay.
But here’s the twist- Check out what you want. Send me an email with your offer ([email protected]). It’s a silent auction so only I know what other people have bid. So if you want something- BID HIGH! If I write you back and say you won something you have to make a donation in that amount of your bid to one of the places listed below. After you send me a screenshot of your donation or forward me a receipt, I will drop the books in the mail to you. I will pack them securely and throw in some bonus stuff for free and I will pay for shipping, anywhere in the world. If you want them signed or personalized, I’m happy to do that. Simple enough, right?

1. WE CAN NEVER GO HOME #1 First Printing, main cover by @misterwalsh. It’s in really good condition, never read.
2. Lot of 3 4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK #1 pre-release convention exclusives. Covers by @de-funked and @tylerpatrickboss. These are numbered copies from Emerald City Comic Con (251 copies), C2E2 (199 copies), and MoCCAfest (50). They contain special bonus pages not found in the regular book.
3. WE CAN NEVER GO HOME #1 SDCC exclusive. Cover by @fistfulapparel. This is numbered and limited to 50.
4. 4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK #1 & #2 HeroesCon exclusives. Covers by @deadcrowcomics and Tyler Boss. Numbered and limited to 50 and 100 copies. #1 was only available by winning a raffle.
5. WE CAN NEVER GO HOME #1 recalled Hot Topic cover. Cover by @bigredrobot. This is exclusive cover for Hot Topic that was printed with the wrong price. These copies were recalled and have only been purchasable if you know the right people.
6. WE CAN NEVER GO HOME vol. 1 limited edition hardcover. Cover by @joshuahood and Hana Nakamura. This 160 page hardcover was only available directly from Black Mask and at a few lucky retailers. It contains all 5 issues of the series and a bunch of bonus material.
7. WE CAN NEVER GO HOME vol. 1 limited edition paperback. Cover by Tyler Boss. This version of the paperback is exclusive to the excellent Forbidden Planet and Jetpack Comics.
8. CIVIL WAR II: KINGPIN #1 @skottieyoung Variant. The first issue of my Kingpin mini-series.
9. CIVIL WAR II: KINGPIN #1 @mckelvie Variant. The hardest to get Kingpin variant, with a kickass Black Panther on the cover.
10. WE CAN NEVER GO HOME #1 Bad Brains sepia variant. Cover by Tyler Boss. Limited to 50 (I think?), these sepia versions were only available from Larry’s Comics.
11. WE CAN NEVER GO HOME #1 Big Black sepia variant. Cover by Tyler Boss. Limited to 50 (I think?), these sepia versions were only available from Larry’s Comics.
12. Lot of 9 4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK #1 store exclusive covers. Most were limited to 250. Covers by @kghoul, @annbonline, Tyler Boss, and Dylan Magwood. Covers from the shops- New England Comics, Main Street Comics, Blindbox Comics, nJoy, Hoknes, Forbidden Planet, Jetpack, Beachbum, and JJ’s Comics.
13. 4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK #1 SDCC set. Numbered and limited to 50, the set includes a new cover for issue #1, a poster, a print, button, sticker, water pistol, and some bonus stuff. All in cool police evidence packaging. This is my favorite. (bonus stuff not pictured).
14. 4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK #1 Retailer Exclusive (not pictured!). This is the advance copy of 4 Kids #1, featuring a bonus mini comic. Only given to retailers, not for sale. Numbered and limited to 200. Comes with a bonus sketch from Tyler Boss. This one is pretty hard to get a hold of.
