I'm not sure if Nathans issues (mental issues) or w/e are canon or not? But what if Nathan doesn't really eat because when he does eat a lot, someone is cruel to him and calling him fat when he isn't?

nathan’s mental instability is canon or at least alluded throughout the game. either way, i like the idea that you’re suggesting. he definitely has a damaging self-esteem and a distorted view of his body image. but besides the bullying, it’s a personal headcanon that it’s nathan’s own way of finding / needing control.
