However, warren was hanging around with max more and more and he always said how COOL she was. plus - ever since - the whole kate thing, alyssa felt awful. she should have done more. She used to hang out with kate until everything STARTED TO HAPPEN. at first, she was mad at kate for attending a vortex club party, but then the bullying got worse - and now alyssa felt horrible for not standing up for her more. yes, she spoke up - but she should have been there for her - like max was. ❛ i’m so sorry. ❜ sc / @sowndeer

chest heaved with exhaustion but the smallest of smiles threatened to bloom across el’s face her & max had done it again. against the scary odds of the adult world, they prevailed. yes, it was a SMALL victory but even the smallest of SCREW YOU ‘s could be wonderfully effective & upbuilding.
