Introduction.

While I don’t feel as if this is something people would really read, I do feel as if an out-of-character introduction is necessary. All my other statements aside, I will now explain the purpose of this blog.

This is an rp (ask?) blog about my au. In this au, everything’s like a high school au aside from the fact that Techno’s a time traveler who is terrible at other peoples’ feelings and his own feelings. That leads him to being morally grey with the intention of caring for someone. He doesn’t use that power (time-traveling) at all because he doesn’t want to be a shounen protagonist. He does not need that emotional trauma. However, if he cares for someone, he will tear his hands through time and space to keep them safe.

*The owl disappears for about two days, which is strange because it's been by Technoblade's side constantly for around two weeks now. One evening, Techno finds the owl sitting on his desk in his room. The owl is moving sluggishly, and there's blood spattered on the desk. Its wing is bent at a strange angle, feathers ruffled and broken. (Its wing appears to be broken)*

“Well.”

[Techno looked at the thing while coming closer relatively calmly. This would need months to repair… hm… he doesn’t use his power a lot. Could this really be dealt with with a bit of time travel fix this?]

[no.]

[He doesn’t know the cause of this, the time of it, etc. He could wait it out while watching the time loop and all, but he’s 90% sure that the anomaly’s condition is out of his control.]

[Using the knowledge he got from the book, he began wrapping the owl’s wing up and checking it for any kind of specific injuries or faults.]

*The owl flies up to Techno and lands in front of him. It chitters happily and nudges a Tupperware container of food towards him. ((Meal delivery yippee))*

"...smart anomaly." [he took the food, smelled it (for the scent of cinnamon or any other poison cover up) and then put it at his side, not having an appetite. Then, he patted the top of the owl's head.]

*One Saturday morning, Techno finds the owl sleeping in a pile of clean clothes in his bedroom. It was awake when he first woke up, but now it's asleep. This is the first time he's ever seen the owl sleep.*

”…well, i am already dressed. As long as that owl doesn’t have attachment issues…”

[he decided to go to outside anyway. He was bored to death, even if he’d woken up two minutes ago.]

[surely the owl wouldn’t be mad when he got home…]

[finally finished a book dedicated ENTIRELY to caring for an owl, bringing in some food for the thing into his apartment and a few utilities for the thing. It could have been an anomaly sent to kill him because he was, also, an anomaly (anomalies were always in a relationship of competition), but he couldn’t care less.]

“Y’know—”, [he began while looking at the owl] “—even if you were to kill me, I could just turn back time and keep myself alive, y’know?” [he told the thing that was probably not listening.]

[he was lonely, sue him.]

*The owl squawks when Techno mentions the possibility of his death, it seems almost offended at the implication that it would try to kill him. It hops closer to him and rubs its fluffy head against his hand, cooing happily.*

“…I could keep you in the next loop.” [he flipped through the book again] “It doesn’t say anything like “owl’s health will deteriorate if it goes through the Aldrich horrors.”.” [he looked at it]

“what do you say?”

[laladragon]

*The owl chirps happily, hopping onto his shoulder and leaning down to look at the book. It rubs its head on the side of his face - it's got very soft feathers, as always.*

“Exactly. You get me—“ [then he realized that he never named the owl] “—…owl.”

[bladethetraveller]

*Techno wakes up to the owl sitting on his bedpost. It's alternating between watching the clock on the wall and watching him. It seems vigilant, as if it's guarding him from something in the darkness. Or perhaps he's reading too far into it.*

”I get that owls are nocturnal, but you don’t sleep, like, ever.”

[he paused while looking at it. It is currently three in the morning.]

“I’ll get a book on owl health sooner or later…”

[he said while going RIGHT BACK TO BED. NO ANIME SHOUNEN PROTAGONIST TODAY!]

[in a group of people talking]

[cracks a joke]

[no one laughs + “omg he can talk??”]

“I’m never cracking a joke ever again…”

[forgets about that and cracks 7 more which mostly land]

*As Techno's on the way to school, the snowy owl flies up to him and lands on his head. It snuggles into his hair and coos happily.*

[he took the bird off his head]

“No.”

[he scolded the anomaly, walking forward and letting it rest on his shoulder.]

“People HAVE to stop being reckless drivers oh my god.”

[bladethetraveller]

”Every time that a cute animal comes over to me I can’t seem to tear myself away from it. This is hell, but no, I’m not soft.” (Fondly)

[bladethetraveller]

*When Techno comes home from school, a snowy owl is sitting on his kitchen table. It looks to be the same one from before. It coos happily when he enters the room and nudges a Tupperware container of brownies towards him.*

”You are one odd anomaly, huh?”

[he walked over to it and patted its head. He could always turn back time to avoid meeting it, but it had lured him in, somehow.]

[bladethetraveller]

*A snowy owl flaps up to Techno and lands on the sidewalk in front of him. It stares at him with bright yellow eyes.*

”…”

[That HAS to be an anomaly. Owls don’t just… do that. Despite that, Techno walks over to it and crouches RIGHT IN ITS FACE]

“Coo.”

[what an onomatopoeia. He then stands up and walks away from it. What was the point of audibly saying ‘coo’ (not even cooing. Just the word) to the owl, only he and the Gods knew.]

[laladragon]

*The owl coos in response and flies up and sits on his head. It has very soft feathers.*

[bladethetraveller]

“Guess you’re going home with me, now let me tell you about my loop from before! This was awful!”

[he then began ranting about the last loop. This was an owl. Of course it couldn’t understand him.]

((actual rant down below))

“Okay, let’s hope you’re not an evil witch getting my secrets for the fun of it.” [he joked, grinning. He was one hell of a lonely guy.] “So, there’s this thing where I met some really cool guy and I got a green bracelet from him. It was beads, really, he said that his friend dared him to offer it to someone because he thought that it was the ugliest thing ever, but I didn’t agree. The thing’s nice, it’s in my house now. I hoard stuff, like, shinies and things akin to it. There was a little forest motif on it. He was that popular singer I don’t listen to like, ever. Y’know, the one who started a boy band? The one who people literally drool over? He’s cringe, I’ll tell you that. He’s, like, so cringe. Sure, he might be a funny guy, but overall his fanbase is a bit… weird. I think I met him a few loops back and that he was overall terrible, but he was going insane at that time. Can’t blame a man when he’s on the ground crying, can I?” [pause…] “I absolutely can, actually, screw you. Cringe! Cringeee!” [he then took out his keys and started unlocking the door] “Moral of the story: that bracelet is amazing. I’ll show it to you once I get inside.”

[laladragon]

*The owl coos happily, it seems to be listening attentively. It snuggles into his hair, nibbling on one of the strands affectionately*

[he set it down onto the table]

“I… actually hate time loops, to be honest.”

[laladragon]

*The owl bobs its head in a way that seems almost understanding. It nuzzles his hand comfortingly, making a soft chittering noise.*

[bladethetraveller]

[he opened the window because, well, he can’t really take care of a bird.]

[bladethetraveller]

*A snowy owl flaps up to Techno and lands on the sidewalk in front of him. It stares at him with bright yellow eyes.*
