“So, my boss just told me that since I don’t have a mother I’ll have to work both shifts tomorrow so everyone else can get a chance to spend at least some time with their mom on mother’s day.”
Private: I’m just surprised she has those feelings, considering she was the one who broke things off the last time we were together. And I really hope we do, but I’m trying to take it slowly. Not just because it’s a new thing, but I don’t want to rush Xavier and Harley to warm up to another person, y’know? I think it’s gonna be the toughest on them.
Private: Well, you’re both older and wiser now. Maybe she realised that she shouldn’t stop those feelings, and just give into them? That sounds like a good idea. It’s probably not going to be easy for them, but I’m sure they’ll be okay with it eventually, if it means their dad is happy.
You can deny it all you want, but you most certainly are old. Just embrace it, daddy. Okay I’m done talking about it. I’m glad you think so, because that means you don’t know about certain things, and we’ll keep it that way. I know I can. It’s not really knowing the answers that’s tricky, it’s the whole getting everything done.
I’m not even fifty! If I’m old, you’re a child. Certain things? Is there something you should tell me? Well, I could help you with that as well. Maybe we can make a study schedule together, or something?
You shouldn’t feel insulted. I’m gorgeous, which means you must be pretty handsome yourself. For an old man, anyway. Yes, let’s stop talking about it. Conversation over. That day better not ever come or it’ll be completely scarring. I don’t know if I’d be able to continue living if I endured that. Out of all the things you could’ve passed on to me, why isn’t your knack for school one of them? Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning with all the homework they give us. Not to mention having to study for the ACTs and the SATs and any other test that’s needed to get into college. It’s hard being seventeen.
I am not old, thank you very much! You’re still talking about it. Please stop talking about it. I know it’s hard being seventeen. But you’re doing a pretty amazign job so far, you know? And if you ever need any help with your homework or studying, you can just ask me, alright?
I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better. The first one is always the worst. Wait... forget I said that. That almost sounds like I’m encouraging you to do it again..
Private: Yes, I’m serious. She asked me to take her to this Gala she had to go, too. We dressed up and everything. It was… amazing. I haven’t felt this happy since Jan died, y’know? It’s great. It feels like the old days.
Private: That sure sounds pretty amazing. I’m glad you guys had such a great time, and that you feel so happy around her. So... does that mean you’ll be going on more dates?
But you were a cheerleader. It doesn’t matter if you did it just to have something to do! You were a freaking cheerleader, and that makes you a thousand times cooler than you’ve ever been before. Yeah, I look too much like you to possibly be adopted. I really doubt that. Thinking about you having sex is mortifying. Lord knows I dread the day I accidentally walk in on you and dad getting it on. Ugh. 25 clubs? Like, all at the same time? How did you manage to do that and keep up with school?
I’m not sure if I should say thank you or feel insulted... but thank you. You definitely do, and we would not keep something like that from you, ever. Oookay, can we just stop mentioning it as well, then? And hope that day will never come? Yes, at the same time. I felt a little... lost, so it was good to be kept busy. And I never had any trouble keeping up with school work, so I was somehow able to manage it all at the same time.
Oh believe me, it is the absolute worst job when it comes to people like this. They see every property, declare they absolutely love it, and then add an except for… and apparently it’s one little thing that turns them completely off of the entire house.
That honestly sounds awfully annoying. But at least there’s also plenty of people that do find their dream houses and are willing to make some sacrifices for it, right?
Mercy: I swear thats how I felt with he who will not be named. I felt like as much as I cared about him and had love for him I was still in love with Sam too. And this is like a second chance but the way we got this chance it really sucks. So I understand how you feel.
Mercy: Well thats what we have been doing. We haven't labeled it I am not his girlfriend we are just dating I guess and its so much fun
Blaine: The reason might be horrible, but it's a good thing that you found each other again. That you're both able to go for this, and that it's not just some one-sided thing.
Blaine: I'm so glad you guys are having such a good time together. That's what's most important.
Still, this is pertinent information! You could have told me cheering was in my blood. Well… Assuming the secrets aren’t about your sex life or telling me that I’m adopted.. Yes, I’m sure.
I didn’t, because I didn’t really think it was in your blood. At least, not from my side. It was just something I tried because there was no Glee Club for a while, but our coach was evil. Don’t worry, you are very much not adopted, and talking about my sex life is probably at least as embarrassing for me as it is for you. So, another random fact? At one point, I was part of about 25 clubs, so there’s lots of things in your blood.
