This is my watercolor American Bison. They are one of my favorite animals, and bison used to roam around the city I was born (well, a long while before I was born), and they have a large bison statue there. This was done by both Erin and Melissa at Lady Luck Tattoo in Owensboro, KY.

My elephant; Nothing more, nothing lessÂ
Skincraft Cincinnati, OH
I am a songwriterâŠI have a song called Yellow Balloon and a song called Little Bird. My friend Jonathan drew this up for me.
Thereâs an East Asian belief that âan invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread my stretch or tangle, but it will never break.â My family has been through more than our fair share of tragedies this year, and, to me, this tattoo is a reminder that not everything is up to us. When you go through tough experiences and canât possibly understand why theyâve happened, I find sometimes you just have to take comfort in the belief that some things are simply out of our hands.
This piece was done by Kit Hall at Deluxe Tattoo in Chicago, IL. Sheâs an amazing artist and her attention to detail is phenomenal.
These are my 3rd and 4th tattoos, done by Race Dylan at Ink & Dagger in Atlanta, GA.
On my right middle finger is an Aya, or fern; a West African Adinkra symbol of resilience, resourcefulness, and perseverance through difficult times. I recently graduated college and also resurfaced from several years of deep and persistent boughts of anxiety and depression. For me, it represents not only my years of academic and emotional perseverance, but also a future reminder to âbloom where I am plantedâ.
The bottom image is of the line sets on my lower back. These are an homage to Otzi, aka âThe Icemanâ who I have been fascinated with for nearly my entire life. Found in 1991 in the Alps, Otzi is the oldest mummified human ever to be found in Europe at around 3300 years old. He has these same tattoos on his lower back, which are hypothesized to have been a form of mystic or holistic medicine (as similar marks appear on the back of one of his knees and one of his ankles) likely as a means of targeting joint pain. As a child, I was obsessed with a PBS Nova documentary about him which would eventually sparked my interests in history, global culture, material culture, archaeology, and the human body. These childhood interests led me on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with focus areas in Paleoarchaology and Material Culture this past spring. I also have an extensive background in film and now hope to pursue a career helping to make documentaries along the lines of the ones that inspired me most as a child.
My second tattoo, cover art from the Descendents first album âMilo Goes to Collegeâ. Iâve always had a strong connnection to their lyrics and this my way to make them a little homage :)

My first tattoo. Anderson, South Carolina at Artistic Ink my artists name was Earl. The reason I decided to get âSwans reflecting Elephantsâ by Salvador Dali is because he has always been a huge person to look up to art wise in my life. I love surrealism and couldnât have asked for a better tattoo. MORE TO COME!
We (I and my wife Thalita) Did it in a Studio in BalneĂĄrio CamboriĂș-Brazil Called Dib Tattoo . The idea itâs to use part of a Beatles song that we luv (Because) and this music can be completed with the union of our hands. Gustavo Dib and her Girlfriend Jessica Did it for us, and thatâs the story. =)
