There were things a normal person would use to start a conversation, and then there was how he did so. Closest thing to traditional for him was the fact he often spoke out what he thought in earnest.
“I like your hair.” That’s all he said; no hello, no ulterior motive. Just a simple compliment to someone he’d never met.
♔ ⊁ A small bead of sweat trickled down down her cheek as she tried to cluster up a sentence in reply to what the other had said. However it wasn’t easy considering the only one she was used to be complemented by was her brother, and with her lack in communication to anyone but him did not help in any situation let alone now that someone had said something nice about her. This was not a task that she was used to, so piecing together a sentence was hard and she would have to reply to him fast otherwise she would look as if she was ignoring him. ❝ Hair likes you too. ❞
That sentence definitely didn’t come out right and it was too late to change it now that she had said it out loud. She wasn’t even entirely sure what she wished to say when she spoke, she just blurted it out in a spur of the moment to reply to the other.
