In Romeo and Juliet, Mercutio called Tybalt "Prince of Cats" because there was a book, popular at the time, with a cat prince named Tybalt in it. He was making a pop culture reference. Therefore, I move, that in a modern Romeo and Juliet retelling, Tybalt should be named Garfield.
i wanted to give them more jewelry and try a different coloring style but 1) my limp wrist gave up on me and 2) i couldn't decide on the shading/tint
and im sick of tweaking opacity so im gonna call this done!
EDIT: i hope it's obvious it's a jewelry swap
katara's earrings + her piercings are based on nuniwarmiut / nunivak island people (labret piercings, long beaded strings with wooden??? stops)
while aang's necklaces are tibetan (turquoise, coral, metal filigree). also i found out that tibetan fashion has wildly intricate hairstyles with braids and hair jewelry and beaded hats and GAH you can't tell me aang wouldn't do that for katara's hair loopies
I think a lot about the opening round of the Libertarian National Convention in 2024. Cause you got the actual Libertarian candidates. Then RFK and Trump, then it goes haywire with the write ins. Ben Dover?? Stormy Daniels?? SEAN LENNON??? CHRIS CHAN?????
