[ Wandering around aimlessly for a few days, Aiden finally found the "adventure" he'd been looking for. Although it wasn't anything compared to the danger the New Order had somehow overcome, it was much better of a discovery. ]
"Jesse?"
[ Aiden stared down at the man laying in the grass. Jesse had been almost unrecognizable in such a state. ]
- Jesse was barely conscious, he's been laying there for creator knows how long. Well, was he even conscious? He's been stuck in a pattern of waking up and falling back asleep again out of utter exhaustion.
- Using whatever energy he had left to look up at the other player, he furrowed his brows and tried to focus, but to no avail. He could only rely on his hearing.
"..Aiden?"
- A crack of his voice, before he surrendered into exhaustion and went limp. Again.
[ Instinctively, Aiden took a half step back. ]
[ He surveyed the area quickly, and deemed it empty, before returning to Jesse's side. ]
"Dammit, somebody's gonna think I had something to do with this."
[ Aiden, though, still decided to become involved. He lifted Jesse into a sitting position, keeping him steady. Unsure of his own reasoning for acting, Aiden became a little more uneasy than he was when he'd first seen Jesse lying there. ]
"... c'mon, get up."
"What..?"
- Jesse muttered, albeit weakly. His breathing was slow, but the rising of his chest was still there.
"i.."
- He grumbled, eventually being forced to stand up as Aiden hooked his arm over his shoulder. Frowning.
"What.. what are you.."
"I'm,"
[ Aiden paused briefly to hold Jesse more firmly so that he did not fall over. ]
"I'm taking you to a medic or something. You look awful."
[ Without asking, Aiden took slow steps with Jesse following on his side. He was being oddly mindful of Jesse's physical exhaustion. ]
"Is there something like that around here? Do you have, um, directions?"
