Atlas is back
A new version of Atlas, designed to operate outdoors and inside buildings. It is specialized for mobile manipulation. It is electrically powered and hydraulically actuated. It uses sensors in its body and legs to balance and LIDAR and stereo sensors in its head to avoid obstacles, assess the terrain, help with navigation and manipulate objects. This version of Atlas is about 5’ 9" tall (about a head shorter than the DRC Atlas) and weighs 180 lbs.
This is the 196 sq. ft. Atlas tiny house on wheels by F9 Productions. It’s designed to take advantage of solar power as well as collecting rainwater. In addition, steel-framing is used to reduce weight and increase structural strength and longevity.
From the outside, you’ll see that it’s a modern tiny house that’s built right onto a double-axle utility trailer. It also features a fold down porch that reveals an abundance of windows.
When you go inside, you’ll find a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and an upstairs sleeping loft. Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!
Pricing starts at $75,000 to buy this tiny house. Downloadable SketchUp plans are available here.
This tiny home was featured on Season One, Episode 13 of HGTV’s Tiny House, Big Living. The episode is called, The Unfoldable Tiny House. It’s available on Amazon (Season 1 Episode 13). Learn more: http://www.atlastinyhouse.com/

Damn... that looks nice!
I’ll pay a dollar to hear a song one time in a bar but I’ll never pay a dollar on iTunes to have a song forever.
When you play a song in Star Wars’ playlists on Spotify song bar changes to a lightsaber.
Also, when you tweet with the starwars hashtag, a bb8's head shows up next to it :)
You know you’re doing the right thing when you’re 50% scared and 50% excited.
Advice from friends (via caniprogram)
Stumble Upon Sofa Alessandro Isola
Ordinarily a ‘ridge’ in a carpet would immediately be pulled straight or be stood on to regain its flat purpose. But not in this case.
Instead, imperfection is magnified until ridges are large enough to offer supportive curves that create a distinctly different seating structure, named the Stumble Upon Sofa. The changing height and curvature of the sofa along the length of its ridges, provides upright seating positions at one end and comfortably informal lounging at the other.

Interesting idea using the carpet as furniture and decor :)
This bicycle handle is the perfect tool to get around places that your wheels won’t take you. It reduces the weight, letting you simply lift and go.
Seize power.
Never will get old for those who watched the series :)

La Fonction No1 Mobile Workstation - By PiKs Design
This novel idea comes from a design agency piKs Design from the French town of Roubaix. After two years of development and several prototypes, the agency’s design team finally came up with La Fonction No. 1, a mobile office in the shape of a full-grain leather briefcase which reconciles your work and mobility.
