Caught a bit of a cold for the past day or two so decided to get back into things with a little light hobby work. Not my favourite but not too taxing -> model cleanup. Working on Candy Heart with cutters, knife and sand paper.

She’s finished! She came out much better than I was expecting. Wasn’t sure of how the bubble texture would look, but once it was baked and glazed I’ve ended up liking it a lot. #handmade #polymerclay #glowinthedark #miniatures #dragons #D20 #umicon
I'm unsure if reblogging this will add much value, my tumblr is very new and I'm quite clueless at the moment. But this is awesome, and if I'm fast enough I may have to snag something from your store when it's good to go; all the dice dragons are fantastic :)
My photo setup
I do use a DSLR and tripod for my photos, although I believe a good point and click braced on a chair would work as well; I have the DSLR for my other hobby :P
The main part of my setup is one of those compact photo booths you can buy at photography stores, mine was by Optex I believe (thanks to my parents for getting this for me!). I've got it set up on a Lack table from Ikea and swapped out the bulbs for LEDs. For the backdrop I just used some cheap tile I got from Home Depot, they sell single tiles; make sure to prop it on a bit of an angle so a light bump doesn't drop it on your stuff. Think I'll maybe try a printed fabric backdrop next...
Kaelly...
That cloak nearly killed me, I felt like tossing the table and all out the window by the time I was done. I'm working on teaching myself blending, it's going slowly but at least I'm learning and progressing. I've found that acrylic retarder is hugely helpful in my climate, I use 1/3 water, flow-aid and retarder in the paint I mix; I also, recently, started using the same mix on the brush I use for blending instead of just plain water. The first one I did was the spawning point and second was Kaelly...perhaps I should have picked a less fiddly figure. Anyhow, some pictures of Kaelly and the whole crew.
Some dragons and a spawning point :)
Inauguration
Trying out tumblr a second time, I didn't really keep it up for my photos. I'm thinking perhaps a tumblr centered around another passion(s) of mine might work better. Games, miniatures, painting and so forth might fit this platform a little better. And to kick it off here are a few SDE dragons I painted up.
