If they ever would, because if Betty had a choice, she would keep it this way. “Neither. My bad, I should have made it so you’re not talking to anyone at all.”

The teen had a rather perplexed look in his face as he tries to really understand what she is saying to him, even going as far as to scoff. “So you would have rather I drown in that hot tub Cooper? Anything would be better than to see that cheap wig again.”

Her leopard print pen tapped rhythmically against her notebook while the thoughts whizzed through her mind. Josie tilted her head to the side lost in thought and the instrumental of the song that was spilling out of her ear buds. Being in the music room of Riverdale High constantly was getting kind of old and unfortunately wasn’t helping with her current writers block; so she decided that a change of scenery was best. Which was why she was currently sitting outside by the doors of Riverdale High, notebook in lap, back leaning against the wall. Hearing a muffled voice, Josie took an ear bud out of her ears and looked up. Once the comment the boy made had processed, she scoffed and returned her attention to her notebook. “I’m sure we all have better things to do than stare at you, Clayton.” She half mumbled, not really caring if he’d heard her or not. 

Knowing that Josie of all people was outside felt worse somehow? He somewhat envied her in the fact that she’s doing exactly what she loves and has her mom, the mayor, backing her up on it whereas he only plays football to connect with his own father. So badly does he wish that he could express himself the way h`e truly wants to, through his photography and artistry, but he knows that his father could never have that. It wasn’t viewed as a ‘manly’ thing to do. He dreads senior year when he has to really choose between satisfying his father’s wants verses his own desires. When the cheetah girl reject quips back at him Chuck is brought back to reality instead of being wrapped up inside his own brain. “I mean if you want to stare, at least own up to it.”

Subtlety had never been the group’s strong suit, all four of them turning to look at Chuck, who just so happened to be the current topic of their conversation. Betty’s eyes rolled automatically, stepping forward so she was in front of the others. “Clearly keeping your mouth shut isn’t very easy for you, is it?” she questioned, hands itching to clench at her sides as she shot him a glare.

Of course of the four people that were staring it had to have been Betty Cooper, who most likely because of Veronica Lodge’s influence has been mouthier and more assertive. He rolled his eyes at her and tried to keep his distance. She is bad news, and if the hot tub incident was any indicator of how quick she’s changing then he knows he shouldn’t even really talk to her. “No, it really doesn’t. I'm sorry, but am I talking to Ms. Teen, USA or the dominatrix on a budget?”

Weeks had passed since the whole Chuck debacle had gone down and in some ways, Moose wasn’t missing the other jock so much as compared to some other teammates. Not that Moose ever hated Chuck but something about the other jock just didn’t sit well with him. Getting out of his car, Moose turned to see the other male walking past him. ‘’Dream on, Clayton. No one would save that shit.’’ 

A smirk dangled from the corner of his lips when he spotted the best defensive linebacker he’s seen since moving to this small ass town, his best friend, Moose Mason. “Acting all tough, but I know you’d get your rocks off at my pics.” The teen approached his fellow Bulldog and he offered him a hand to shake. “Man, I feel like I haven’t seen you in a hot minute. How you’ve been bro?”

LOCATION: Riverdale High School

It had been several weeks since he was suspended on from school and BANNED from the football team, something his father, the coach and teacher of Riverdale High, could never let him live down even at home. He was thinking of ways to occupy his time since he is not allowed to participate for the rest of the season. He wanted today to be a new day. A day of changes—of reinventing. Having his driving privileges revoked for sneaking out to a party Chuck had no choice but to walk to school. As he approached the steps of the school he looked over at the group of people staring at him, to which he nodded towards them. “Want me to take a picture for you? It’ll last a lot longer.”
