Ferrari designed a special helmet for Virgil Tracy. The seven stars on the top of the helmet represent Virgil’s parents and brothers. The wings on the sides are a tribute to Thunderbird 2 and his duty as a pilot. The colors of the helmet are inspired by Thunderbird 2’s iconic design.

For the first time, Ferrari moved away from its traditional red design — not for a race, but to honor a hero...
