Wir freuen uns bei It´s a Book dabei zu sein! Ist am 19. März, HGB, Leipzig. Nous nous réjouissons de participer à It´s a Book, le samedi 19 Mars à la HGB, Leipzig.

“‚It’s a Book‘ is an independent publishing fair taking place on 19th of March 2016. The fair will be hosted at the Academy of Fine Arts, Leipzig, simultaneously taking place with the official Leipzig Book Fair held at the Leipzig Messe. Practitioners from the international independent publishing scene look forward to meeting with visitors interested in exchanging books and ideas.

Originally initiated by Leipzig based publishing house Spector Books in 2010, the organization and management of the fair was handed over to the students from the graphic design department of the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig three years ago. ‘It’s a Book’ showcases 40 publishing houses and around 20 student projects.”

Lagon + Breakdown Press + Angoulême = DÔME Nous avons été invités par le Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d’Angoulême pour créer une revue unique, imprimée en une semaine pendant le festival, en compagnie des éditeurs anglais Breakdown Press. Cette revue s'appelle DÔME et elle sera entièrement imprimée en riso.

Together with the English publishers Breakdown Press, we have been invited by the International Comic festival in Angoulême to create a unique magazine and print it over the course of one week during the festival. The magazine will be called DOME and will be riso-printed in its entirety. -

Du 28 au 31 janvier 2016 : Venez nous rendre visite durant les 4 jours du festival dans le bâtiment nommé le Vaisseau Moebius. Nous imprimerons et façonnerons dans un atelier ouvert au public avec les auteurs ayant participé au livre.

From 28 to 31 January 2016: Come see us during the four festival days in the building called Vaisseau Moebius. We’ll be printing and assembling the magazine in a workshop open to the public, together with the participating artists. -

Samedi 30 janvier : lancement du DÔME à partir de 18H sur place. Les premiers exemplaires terminés seront en vente.

BYE BYE BLOC BOOKS aufwiedersehensfeier Samstag 19. Dezember 2015 Von 12 bis 22 Uhr

Wir verabschieden uns aus der Ladenfläche in der Merseburgerstraße und möchten unsere letzten beiden Tage mit euch zelebrieren.

Am Freitag findet die Ausstellungseröffnung von Lukas Weidinger und Hans Lichtenwagner statt. Hinter dem Titel „Vroum, vroum“ versteckt sich ein intermediales Erlebnis der Extraklasse.

Am Samstag sagen wir „Bye Bye Bloc Books“ und freuen uns mit euch noch einmal auf unser Ladenprojekt anstoßen zu können.

Nous prenons congé de notre librairie-galerie de la Merseburgerstraße à Leipzig, et souhaitons célèbrer les deux derniers jours en votre compagnie!

Vendredi soir, nous vernirons l´exposition de Lukas Weidinger et Hans Lichtenwagner. Sous le titre « Vroum, Vroum » se cache une expérience qui éveillera tous vos sens.

Puis samedi nous dirons ensemble, tout en trinquant à cette belle expérience, « Bye Bye Bloc Books ».

Am Sonntag findet im VARY ein Trickfilmnachmittag im Rahmen von Bloc Books statt! Kommt vorbei! Der wunderschöne Flyer ist übrigens von Erik Johannsen, der mit Anna Haifisch, Sara Bock und Christoph Kukla & Ines und Kirsten Geißer Sonntag Trickfilm zeigt! Kaffee und Kuchen sind dabei!!

Dimanche Bloc books et VARY organisent une après-midi film d´animation! Venez! Il y aura aussi du café et des gâteaux! Le Flyer est de Erik Johannsen qui montrera deux de ces films d´animations dimanche ainsi que Anna Haifisch, Sara Bock und Christoph Kukla & Ines und Kirsten Geißer!
