surprise! minecraft inspired homebrew part 6! this time with a ranger subclass based off the speedrunning community. i got a lot of suggestions for mcyt warlock patrons, so i’ll probably be compiling those as its own post with them all together :]

for someone who’s spent the majority of my dnd playtime as a ranger, this was remarkably hard to come up with abilities for! i tried to keep in mind base rangers are notoriously weak for the feats, but hopefully nothing’s too overpowered. again, not a DM, just a player having fun. the beginning description for ceaseless mind is taken directly from unearthed arcana’s revived rogue, and the rng feature is inspired by a divination wizard + wild magic sorcerer ability.

obviously you could argue this isn’t inspired by speedrunning in minecraft, but that could be said for my sands of time oath. i tried to be more specific in the spells (pyrotechnics is like using beds for explosions, far step is using enderpearls, etc...) also “The Speedrunner Conclave is an dedicated gang (...)” is just meant to be HBG lmao

lastly, credit where credit is due, the artwork is by @adei0s on twitter. this is made with no intention for profit, but i’m more than willing to replace it if asked! the aesthetic just fit very well. (also, yes, the irony of using an f3 screenshot on the same page as illumina is 100% intentional)
