I am not here for this. I understand that POC get a lot of shit for just existing, but this kind of fuckery happens to my brother all the time. My family are of Celtic heritage and my brother wears his hair in dreads to simbolise that. Were white. He gets so much shit for it because people think he’s ‘trying to be black’ but he’s not, he’s being himself. He beatboxes, he volunteers at our local nature reserve, he plays a banjo, he tells stories. He respects everyone that respects him and he’s got a beautiful soul.

If anything, black people benefit the most in society today because people are afraid of being labelled a racist if they don’t hand out shit to black people. Homelessness

I have a very serious life emergency and if its not taken care of soon I’m going to be homeless. This isn’t just me complaining about having to live with my brothers or anything. I might be loosing my childhood home because of property taxes. Part of me wants to start a go fund me to help my Mom pay for it. Im super scared right now. To be fair, everyone does have a right to their own opinion, and everyone does have the right to protest. It doesn’t matter if their views are terrible, they have the right to peaceful protest. Nobody has the right to not be offended. Now, as soon as that protest turned violent, the police are able to step in and stop the protest, but before it turned violent, all police can do is protect both the protesters and the public as well as they can. Don’t blame this on people saying that others have the right to their own opinion, if we didn’t have that, we’d be in some sort of fascist government, and that would be horrific for everyone.

I don’t agree with the protesters, I wish they hadn’t gone out and organized this. Just as I wish there hadn’t been meetings all over the world last year for men who believed rape wasn’t a crime. That doesn’t mean they don’t have the right to meet peacefully, no matter how nightmare-ish their cause is.
