So, my boyfriend of 3 years, whom I still love very much, ended our relationship last night, after finding that he has fallen out of love with me due to distance.
Needless to say, Iโm distraught and in a very dark place right now. To those who liked for a short starter, Iโm very sorry. I just canโt do it. I canโt think, I canโt focus, I canโt even see straight. They will have to wait until Iโm back to baseline.

It was the middle of the night and Lizzy was feeling desperate. Dettlaff, wherever he was, had managed to elude her. But she knew of one other person who would know exactly what to do. The sky growled, the ground hissing as the heavy drops of rain soaked away the summer heat from it. And the bundle in her arms renewed it's struggles. Lizzy hushed it softly, adjusting her cloak hastily as she ran, her fist falling heavily against the wooden door of Ellie's cottage.
Ellie was just laying down to read when she heard the knock. She would have grown agitated, as on a number of occasions, drunk noblemen and women had tried to get into her shop after a long night of prior indulgence and she so grew tired of telling them to buzz off until business hours, but this came from the lower entrance, of which only a privileged few knew.
She evaporated from under the blankets, reappearing at the door wearing a silk, pastel green gown. Opening the door, she eyed Lizzy for a moment, a look of confusion masking her features and looking back behind her briefly--perhaps she expected someone else?

Who they take after more: While she is quiet like Dettlaff, she is far more composed and emotionally put-together like her mother, often composing herself in a more methodical manner, and carrying with her a neutral attitude, while her parents occupy the extremes. She approaches issues with a scientific methodology, using reason and complete objectivity in order to distance herself emotionally from the problem before her.ย
Personal Head canon: She will often disappear for hours at a time, needing time alone to recharge. She sits in a secluded area, usually in a forest or at a pond, and lets herself sink into absolute stillness, listening to the silence around her permeated only by the chirping of birds and skittering of wildlife. She finds this time alone healing, similar to a restful nightโs sleep, after experiencing a stressful situation, or simply being around people or other vampires for too long. She makes sure not to go far, if only to keep her father from worrying himself sick over her absence.
