. . . ( i'm a lifeguard. i work at this small private pool at a condo. the thing is i get mistaken a lot to be white/canadian. the arabs / middle easterns don't suspect a thing, and there are a lot of arabic-speaking residents here.

the pros about being an incognito arabic speaker: i can listen in to the tea, the family drama, and whatever the aunties are watching on their phones. when they play music from their speakers i can vibe too,

the cons: we middle easterns are too funny. i collapse laughing whenever an auntie drops a line, therefor blowing my cover )
