Based off of this spoiler(?) from the creator of blood plus, it seems that Saya and Diva’s aunt is already dead hence why Nathan can’t be killed.

Nathan killed Saya and Diva’s mother. Diva made six chevaliers during her time. I wonder if the enemy chevalier was killed.

Okay actually just going to make a post about the Chiropteran Queens because their biology is super wacky and inconsistent. So Diva and Saya's mom, how did she die? She's not crystallized or anything. Just mummified. Do Queens have a Chiropteran form? That would awesome ngl. Big scary monster ladies. Actually gonna try to draw what their Chiropteran forms would look like lol

Headcanon/Question Theory Thingy!

I wonder how many Queen there were, and if any of them even got to bound with their daughters. It seems to be a weird cycle. Saya and Diva's mom died pregnant with them and Diva never got to see hers hatch. (Still weirded out that Saya and Diva's looked full Chiropteran in death, did Saya and Diva just not unlock their full forms or something...?)
