I really think that it should have been a thing where dean is just projecting all this horniness onto s4 Cas and he’s just like- fuck this dude wants to bang me so bad, and so he finally is like well fuck it, maybe i should let him, Cas is looming over him, like a magnifying glass just trying to examine every part of deans face and deans like ok cool let’s do this, you want me so bad you can have me and pushes in and kisses him. and it’s fucking dead- white noise, Cas does absolutely nothing, lets him do it and stands there like a brick fucking wall and then pulls back all confused and Dean’s like wtf????? i- weren’t we doing this?? doesn’t he- what the fuck?? and Cas just creases his brow and asks “why did you do that?” and deans just blushing from head to toe, flustered beyond belief like “w-why?? you- you shouldn’t- if you didn’t want to- you can’t just look at someone like that and not.... expect- I was helping you! Jesus Christ, Cas! That’s what you wanted! Right??” And Cas just thinks about it and looks him dead in the eye and says “no.” Because…. no. No he wasn’t thinking that- he never considered that that could be an option. He was just curious. Deeply, painfully curious. About the righteous man. And his striking green eyes…. and soft curled lashes the chaos swirling like the cosmos black holes and supernovas inside his brain. Each of his freckles a lost code of some foreign language that cas wants to understand. To break. Cas watches deans face heat and feels the burning off his cheeks so close and dean just goes, “well cool, then, look who’s the fucking idiot. if you don’t want it, please step the fuck back, like 2-“ Cas steps back. “yeah, one more,” Cas steps back again. “good. Because this is a bubble? Ok? You understand? You can’t get in a guys face- and give him the ‘sex eyes’ without him making some assumptions alright? This is personal space now. You got that?” His cheeks are on fire and his ears are throbbing and he just marches dramatically into the bathroom. Outside, Cas considers this, scrunching his eyes, staring at the dirty motel floor trying to make sense of what just happened and touches his fingers to his lips. “You wanted that.” Repeating in his head. Hm. Did he? He didn’t ask. Maybe he did? He tucks the thought away to decide another time. They have more pressing matters to attend to anyway.
