Important

I won't ramble too much and will get straight to the point,

Upturned: Turned up will be put on hiatus.

For exactly how long I can't say, but what I can say is that there won't be any new panels anytime soon. I know that some people will be upset and disappointed and I truly am sorry.

I've been branching out and been discovering new things that really interest me and I've been having a lot of fun with other mediums, Turned up is sadly not one of these anymore. Everytime I want to sit down and want to work on it I just don't feel the joy that I use to. And the last thing I want to do is push out something that will look rushed or dull or just generally wonky, because that's not what I want to give to people who care about the comic. Don't get me wrong I do still care a lot for it, and probably always will, but as of current I want to work on other stuff.

With that being said I will make it clear: In character asks are still allowed and now; general asks about the story are also allowed. I might also still make some festive drawings or general drawings for turned up but panels for now will not be continued.

This was quite a hard choice to make but I also do not want to lie to myself nor anyone else.

With that being said I still hope you guys have a good day and that everyone is taking care of themselves!! ^_^

Small Announcement

New turned up panels and uploads will probably be slowed down a lot, Things in germany are really scary right now ( with the elections and stuff ) and i will need to see how stuff will go on from here on out.

" These paintings would act as a light source for them, each piece had such a gentle and soft glow that one couldn't help but be drawn towards them. "

" Though that isn't the only thing she'd do. Around when snow fell, kids who couldn't afford to get a gift for their loved ones, would be blessed by getting a special piece made just for them. "

" You couldn't help but be happy, the kids' eyes would always light up with joy. The pieces were warm and comforting, looking almost alive. People swear that the images moved, but they never did. "

" But there even was a happy end for the ones that weren't so fortunate to have a loving home. She would act as their guiding light, getting them to a safer place, so they wouldn't need to sleep in the cold, cold snow. "

" Though over the years her presence became less and less. People question if she's still around today, or not. She's just a local myth around these parts now. "

" [ Shrimp sniffs the water for quite a bit, standing still as if waiting for something to happen. Perhaps preparing incase something moves. ] "

" [ Just like that, Bingo. Shrimp starts growling at the bubbling from the water, and the growing shadow with it. Basically waiting to jump at whatever is going to pop out. Ikabod however seems to not have noticed this yet. ] "

" ...Shrimp? What's wrong buddy? Did something scare you?—Was it the mention of the hotel?? If so I do apologise a lot! I won't bring it up again if you don't like the topic of the hotel.— "

[ Splashing. Gasping. A dark figure emerges from the water. ]

" Ah!— Hello good sir! Sorry if we disturbed your place!! We can leave right away! So sorry about Shrimp!— I will take him away right away, he does tend to be quite hostile! But also are you okay?— How long have you been in there? Right uh— Shrimp let's go I can't really afford having an accident happening right now because I'm dirt poor! "

" [ Shrimp just growls and growls louder. Perhaps it's a person that they both know. A person that they both have a bad experience with. But Ikabod just doesn't realise it yet. ] "

" ..Well that was weird. Never have met a man that slept in a pond. Perhaps this is his home? This place sure is weird already and....How long have we even been here. Oh well I guess we just better get going. That man seemed a bit grumpy anyways, don't want a chair thrown at me on my first day!....just like my first day at the hotel.... Really sorry that I don't have my dog treats with me or anything to eat honestly. Maybe we should find you more of those roses to calm you down a bit! "
