Yan! Bakugo is only mean to you because heās scared. Heās not like those dumb extras whoāre so caught up in the delusional that their darlings love themā heās got actual brain cells that work. He knows that it was wrong to drag you tooth and nail to his house, knows that he shouldnāt be taking advantage of you because heās a selfish prick and youāre so fucking soft he canāt help but want you underneath him.
Heās never going to let you go, no matter how much you beg or plead or cry. And he only says mean shit, infantilises and degrades you because heās scared. Not in some cowardly sort of way, but more of a he doesnāt want to leave you at home when he goes out for work and slaves away saving people only to come back and see that youāre gone. He doesnāt want you to leave him.
So, heās gonna tower over you and intimidate you even if youāve done nothing. He wants to transcribe it in your mind that you are nothing special, that you. canāt. escape. him. He degrades and belittles you to rip away your confidence and courage. He infantilises you, spoon-feeds and claims you canāt shower or dress by yourself because he wants you to be dependent on him (just like heās dependent on you). He purposefully terrifies you with his bigger body and his glare and quirk, and constantly punishes you for the tiniest of things because he wants you to be too scared to even step across the threshold of the house/apartment youāre in in fear of what sort of punishment he might concoct when he finds out.
He doesnāt want to be mean, itās just how he is. Heās so used to acting like the bigger, meaner guy, the bully. Itās not that hard to bully you.
He could be nice if you accepted him. Could spoil you the way he dreamed of, treat you to the nicest things money can buy (and heās got a lot of that). It doesnāt always have to end with bruises and bitemarks, yknow.
And okay, so what if the image of you trembling in a ball at the end of the couch staring up at him with frightened doe eyes gets him turned on? So what if the idea of yanking you close to him by your ankle (fuck youāre so helpless and small) makes his dick fill up and strain heavily in his pants?
He can be a little nice if you just learn to like him back.
(but donāt fake it though. That wonāt end well).
