Summary:

"The most common feeling in the world is loss. Everyone has lost something. Toys, money, clothes. People. Bruce didn't like the feeling of loss, but he couldn't shake it. The world seemed to want to take everything he held most dear. But Bruce learned to protect his things and keep them safe. [...]" The mansion was invaded by strange creatures and Bruce finds himself at a loss as he tries to protect his children. But despite his fear, he doesn't back down, he fights.

As much as I love shipping corensupes and battinson, I find their ship so fucking hilarious. Battinson doesn't even know the touch of a romantic partner. He has zero game. No rizz, as the kids say. Poor Selina had to do all the initiations and heavy lifting because batman would just lock-up in a "saavdhan" (attention) position every time she tried to even talk at him. Meanwhile, our corensupes here? He has so much game, he doesn't even need to try. He is full rizz (idk if I'm using that term correctly). He is full on making out with Lois in the trailers, floating in the air with her! Nah...if corensupes even tries to stand close to battinson, trying to kiss him, while my babygirl is blabbering about how this is ummm unprofessional of them...I'm afraid before Clark even gets to kiss him, Bruce will hyperventilate, his knees will buckle and Clark will have to hold him up. Which will definitely make things worse. Clark doesn't know what to do, Alfred is about to chase him away with a shotgun, and he doesn't even get to kiss his bats a little... Now, he is not even sure he should because Bruce looks like he might actually get a heart attack if he did.
