What do your friends call you?
“Other Xaela call me Enkhjargal, but given the eccentricity of the name to Eorzean tongues, I instead offer the alternative: Enkh. While most keep to this shortened form, some may also tack on the title ‘master’; such is usually done without my requesting it, but I needn’t stop them.”
What is your favorite animal?
“I’ve no particular favorite, but Behemoths possess a most fearsome roar.”
“If you’ve any speck of knowledge of my tribe, you’d know that I was born and raised upon a shard of land resting in the middle of the One River. We were different from most Xaela, as we had discarded the notion of traveling from location to location.”
Do you have any children?
“No, and quite frankly, I’d rather not, given the sort of business in which I deal.”
Is there a person/people you love?
“Camille. Of all of the people towards whom I had been amicable, Camille is the only person I would be comfortable with saying that I ‘love’.”
What is your favorite color?
“Red. My reasoning possesses nothing to do with the customs of my tribe.”
What is your full occupation?
“Officially, I am under the employ of one Mister Aubin Apocrypha of Apocrypha Auctions and Acquisitions as an advisor, but those within the company are privy to the knowledge that I am the aforementioned Mister Apocrypha. We specialize in the retrieval and auctioning of artifacts, art pieces, and other similarly valuable items. Our methods need not be legal, either; anything that catches our interest is a target of our efforts.
Outside of this, I am a researcher specializing in the study of the changes and fluctuations of ambient aether by exterior causes, an arcanist, a spellcrafter, and, occasionaly, a tutor.”
Are you good at physical fighting?
Which form are you best at?
“I am capable of fencing with a rapier after moons of tutorship and training, though I’ve still much to learn.”
Which type are you best at?
“Offensive arcanima, employing a combination of both Eorzean, Sharlayan, and Allagan spellwork and techniques. Almost all of my life was spent studying as an arcanist.”
“It is recommended that most arcanists be capable of creating their own inks and grimoires through alchemy. Not only does it bring economic advantage against purchasing these materials from a shop, but it offers to the arcanist a greater understanding of how one’s spells are cast. Potions and tonics are not outside of my ability, either.
“Cleaning and organization. The messiness of a workplace is indicative of an inefficient worker.”
“I’ve no knowledge of any siblings that I may have.”
Where do you see yourself in five years?
“In my office or out on the field, being as productive as I am in the present. I cannot stand being idle for too long of a time.”
Have you ever almost died?
“There is always the risk of death in my line of work.”
Do you have a secret, not just a secret, but like a really big secret hardly anyone knows?
“Salty. Flexible and powerful.”
“Indeed, but I’d rather not live keeping myself as my only company for too long.”
Do you believe in the Twelve?
“I do acknowledge the practice of worshiping these figures, but I do not do so, myself.”
“No. Gods exist within ourselves only to manifest as Primals. If there would be nothing else that I share with the Garlean Empire, it is their belief that the greatest power lies within our own hands and minds.”
Do you carry prejudice with you?
“Those who still believe in categorizing their issues using binary concepts such as ‘good and evil’ are deluding themselves and will have none of my respect. I’ve not many good interactions with Elezen, specifically Duskwight Elezen. But, chances can be given if I feel they can be afforded.”
What do you consider entertainment?
“Stories, both fiction and nonfiction.”
Do you have any family traditions?
“I try to distance myself from the ‘traditions’ of my blood relatives as much as I can.”
“What makes a ‘good person’? By the standards of those who’d judge, I am not. In fact, some may compare me to the average villain in a fable. However, it must be noted that storybook villains usually fall to failure. I do not fail.”
