Daniel & Blossom || First Meeting Para

The swell had been good that day, and the waves weren’t as big as Dan would’ve liked. However, he had finally gotten in a good two months worth of surfing within a few hours, and he caught the bus back comfortably to Haven, his surfboard leaning against the seat beside him and his bag on the seat beneath the surfboard. He leaned back, resting his arm on the windowsill and gazing out at the passing trees and the beach growing smaller and smaller behind him; he hoped to get back to Haven before dark.

His hope had been fulfilled as the bus finally pulled into the emptying bus mall. Dan was one of the few off the bus first, eager to get away from the stifling air and heat that had clouded his mind on the overcrowded bus. Hitching his back onto his back, Dan made his way home, his surfboard under his arm.

Blossom chugged her entire bottle of water as she trotted down the street heading back to the apartment complex. It was a huge day at the studio- she had learned a forty five minute dance routine, and she felt exhausted but the day was not half over. She headed into the coffee shop, bouncing along with her ear buds in and an Akon song blasting. Blossom ordered a tea and headed out. 

Right when she turned out of the café, she ran right into Dan's surf board. "Ah," she squeaked and ripped her ear buds out of her ears. "Watch out!" She warned in her heavy British accent while she rubbed her stomach. "I'd like to get home without being bloody chopped in half. God..."

I really need to finish watching Breaking Bad. Season one was great.

"I know." He runs a hand through his hair. "You’re right… It’s just I’m on the seventh floor and that’s a lot of stairs."

"Want me to walk with you? I'll talk to you and keep you awake." She offered, nudging his shoulder a bit.

"I’m too tired." He groans, amusement in his tone. "I’m thirty two, definitely don’t need coddling.—but thank you?"

"Well think about it the faster you get up to bed the fast you'll get to sleep!" She pointed out, crossing her arms and leaning against his chair.

Emmett laughs, looking at the small brunette with a smile. “You’re tiny, and I’m a two hundred pound man.”

"Tiny but mighty," she growled showing him a muscle. "Common, I'll carry you like a baby. You got a blanket? I'mm wrap you up!

"I am so exhausted."

He’s so tired that he’s not even bothering going upstairs yet, he’s just sitting in the lounge trying to get up enough energy to get upstairs and crash.

"Want me to carry you, handsome?" She chuckled, stopping on her way to the stairs to look at him.

I need to get out more. Someone take me somewhere.
