Appreciation Post #3 Without these people I wouldn't know how Ian and I would be able to pull off the wedding properly. Preparation for a wedding is already stressful, what more if you are preparing from abroad? Had 8 months to prepare but still a very short time for a wedding. I'm just blessed enough that I have them to share the stress with, for the moral support when I am about to freak out, for keeping me calm despite the kaguloness. Thank you for setting aside all your differences for me, for pulling off a bachelorette party, and also a successful and fun reception party. It's also funny how you guys handle all the little gliches that we had that day -- to the point where you guys get stressed (Khlaren and Alique) 😂😂😂 I really appreciate every bit of effort you placed on this event. As I said, this event is for all of us, it is Ours. Thank you for lending me a day or two of your busy adulting lives for me and Ian. Appreciation post #1 My Parents. I know that no matter what happens they will always be there by my side, they may not be as vocal and sweet but I know that they will never leave my side. Now that I am starting my own family, I will always bring with me the life lessons that they taught me, on how to build an imperfect family, the discipline that my father implied on me and the selfless care that my mama gave me. I may not often say this, but I am very grateful for the things that they let me get through. I am confident and will proudly say that I will raise my future children the way they raised me. Ma and Pa, I may not be your baby girl now, but I am grateful for raising me and for taking care of me. There may be a few glitches but that's what family is. Highlights of my 2017!! Another travel year for me! 🚈🚄✈ This may not be the greatest year of my life, but this surely is the longest one!! Too many events has transpired, happy and sad, good and bad, traumatic and not. It's really true that a lot of things can change within a year. I learned how to treasure people more and make the most out of any events that you are in, because you will never know when it can happen again. 2017 is definitely a year of surprises. Losing some and gaining some, I think that's my theme for this year.
