i miss you most on mornings- a random thought straying some familiar, something recalls you from a place that no longer exists i blunder through memory some days- some mornings before the blurring day begins i sit here, alone with you

I was out walking Dunkin and he was sniffing around a dumpster, i assume rabbit's droppings. I spotted a cardboard canvas with a few markings of paint. It looked like someone started a landscape but gave up in despair and tossed it away. It had rained and some of the canvas was peeling off the cardboard. It looked sad sitting there on top of the rubbish and there is something about canvases in the garage that makes me shutter. So I took it home and it turned into this.

GOROCHANA
Gorochana transliterated from Sanskrit: गोरोचन is a type of medicine. Go in Sanscrit means cow and is from the same Indo-European root that the Germanic word God comes from. Rochana could mean divine chariot or in some Indian languages it is the name of a plant identified with Caesalpinia bonduc (L.)Roxb or Caesalpinia crista.
In Standard Tibetan it is called gi-wang (Gi power) and refers to a stone or 'bezoar' found in cattle (गो,go), such as the bull, cow, ox, and yak. Its presence in the animal is reputedly indicated by the snoring or other nocturnal sounds made by the animal in its sleep. Its equivalent in Sinitic culture is calculus bovis. The vernacular Hindi and Bengali names are the same as the Sanskrit. The finest quality of gorochana is said to be obtained from the brain or forehead of an elephant, and the second best quality is obtained from the cow. In size and appearance gorochana is said to resemble the yellow yoke of a boiled egg, and the yellow pigment obtained from it is used as a tonic and sedative, and is applied as a sacred mark (tilaka) to the forehead. When mixed with honey and applied to the eyes, gorochana is believed to bestow clear vision, enabling one to see all the treasures of the world. The grey or white stone obtained from the crown of a king cobra's head is be lieved to enable a snake-charmer to control all lesser serpents, and bestows immunity to their venom. The occidental 'toadstone' obtained from the skull of a toad, was similarly credited with the antidotal qualities of transformation.
In Tibetan art this precious medicine is represented in many ways: it appears in the form of pills, or in the shape of an egg, bean, spiral, fruit, gland or fungus. It is usually coloured white or yellow, and is often illustrated as a solid oval shape suspended in a viscous white liquid.
The question is why?
In Ruland's Lexicon of Alchemy on the subject of draconites, the dragon's stone. This cinedian stone is the equivalent of the stone in the head of the dragon or the serpent and carries the same psychic connections as the
Gorochana. From the philosophic assessment of 11th century islamic philosophers concerned with the orginal choas (the ground of being) there is a cinedian fish that contains in its brain and in its backbone these remarkable stones, that appear in the deep, Dei Obscundus, and are shown by their name to have a moving function (cinedan, cinematic and kinetic are all related) corresponding to the motor function of the celestial pole around which the material universe and conciousness circulate, as fixed entity.
These stones contain in a psychological sense, the creative energy of the orginal choas encapsulated in a golden ball riding in the head and guiding these most powerful appearances
Pictired: Gorochana.
This doesn't look like it is going anywhere else. So it enters a pile of "not so fine art" to be stored with others of its kind until I figure out what to do with them.
