My parents are viet but I was born in America! ^^ I've visited Vietnam a few times but my vietnamese is horrendous 😭😭 I can only really understand my parents and relatives, and I don't really speak it 'cause ik the tones are really important so I don't think anyone'd be able to understand me 💀 but yeah the "xanh" is for blue lol

quick 40 min renclair sketch~~~ ik it doesn't really look like him but for some reason i can never get his eye shape quite right?? his eyes are kinda sharp but i always make them too round 😔😔 i wanna draw some more sinclair so I can practice getting used to drawing his face some more, so i'm thinking i might do some more black and white sketches like this later

In other news, I haven't finished the newest intervallo yet but I've been running Renclair in BL teams instead of BL sinclair. His AOE is just really fun and ik people think his sprites are really ugly, but they're really growing on me lol. His ugly ass bob is kind of charming, no?

Lowkey drawing OCs and thumbnailing has been starting to be a drag the past couple of days so maybe I gotta slow down a bit with drawing… But at the same time I wanna get everything set up for art fight… hm… Maybe I can switch to doing fanart instead? I'm working on this lineart rn for a couple of my OCs. I'm thinking that I kinda wanna do it in a manga style bc I'm too lazy to color it but I'm not too sure 🤔🤔🤔

The proportions are kinda fucking me up tho bc the girl on the left is supposed to be a couple years younger than the guy on the right but I don't think you can tell 😭😭 mannn I gotta actually start using references this is ass

Finished some sketches for art fight portraits~ I already finished one of the portraits so I'm thinking I might upload that soon…? I've also been thinking I wanna get back to doing some fanart here and there but I'm worried about not being able to finish stuff in time for art fight… 😣 I think I should just start uploading my backlog, I keep forgetting that art exists…

Working on more OC sketches for Art Fight. The one on the left is inspired by the Queen of Hearts, and the one on the right is sort of inspired by Black Rock Shooter. I kind of like both of their designs as-is but I feel like something's iffy about them. The one on the left in particular might be a little too evocative of Twisted Wonderland so many I should change it 😭

Slightly unrelated, do new anime fans know about Black Rock Shooter? My friends who watch anime don't even really know who she is 😭😭 I remember thinking everyone just sort of knew her….

I haven't been using tumblr for all that long, so it's still kinda surprising to me that my old arts are getting likes. I guess fanart really does do good on tumblr. But man I'm just used to posting art on twitter or instagram and getting 2 likes that day and never again 😭
