That’s what happens when a beautiful man of colour who seemingly sipped on the fountain of youth continues to slay while your white faves increasingly resemble crusty ass cryptkeepers. I know it’s a difficult and painful struggle, but I know that there are many of you out there and you can surely start a support group to overcome the mental gymnastics it must take to really believe this lie.

sometimes it hits me that entire ethnic groups didnt survive ethnic cleansing from europeans. that those people dont exist anymore, no survivors, descendants, nothing. and even native americans being alive today is a wonder considering the extreme lengths europeans went to, to rid the americas of the indigenous peoples. so appalling.

this is why I feel preserving indigenous culture and identity is so important

as an indigenous person, as a survivor, as a decendant of survivors,  living and breathing is an act of rebellion and defiance in and of itself
