âNokia ShiramineâŚâ She paused and blinked, and then a shrug followed. âMeh. Hyperactive or not, sânot like itâs gonna bother me. Iâm from Ireland of all places, and my entire family has tempers as hot as Shoutmonâs here⌠then again, they do drink and believe in fairies tooâŚâ She glanced at Lopmon and rolled her shoulders. âAh⌠anyway, letâs go.â
Upon reaching the Comimani Forum, Aislyn set the two digimon down and pulled out a blanket from her bag, placing it over them. Lightly petting their heads, she then set up Shoutmonâs mic up nearby.
Turning to Arata, she had a slight frown on her face. âIâm just surprised to find that there are other kinds of digivices. So⌠if you happen to find my body or anyone with a digivice that looked like mine, let me know, eh? Lopmon wanted to find more out about his origins. He doesnât even remember coming from the Digital World. All he remembers is running from some wild cats in the forest around my parentâs home and then me.â
She seemed genuinely worried, but realizing she was babbling, she gave a wave of her hand. âNevermind. Sorry. Youâll probably need to be on your way. Weâll be waiting.â And with that, she goes to sit down beside her partners, watching over them with a concerned expression.
It was a blessing in disguise, Arata mused as they arrived in the Comic Mania forum, that the open area had been empty. Even the Admin had gotten off, which was uncharacteristic of the old man. Still, heâd take what he could get, and watched as Aislyn pulled a blanket out and got ready to camp in the forum for the night.
Still, he had to admit...He never expected all of this, though he knew heâd probably said it aloud (or in his head) a thousand times by now. It was all really curious...But, at least they were good people, or so he was assuming. At the least, they didnât hold any malice, and they knew the Eaters were not friendly, if the scene he interrupted was any indication.
...Speaking of, he had to admit, he looked kind of cool there. But, he pushed that thought aside when Aislyn addressed him. He could stroke his own ego later.
âYou arenât the only one thatâs surprised. I didnât even consider the possibility of a Digivice existing that wasnât made by Kamishiro Enterprises...But, yeah. Iâll send a message on your Digivice via DigiLine. You might want to look into installing that before you sleep, by the way. Itâs useful for sending short messages. And, as far as I know, itâs free to download...
Now, like you said, I need to get going. Iâll see you guys tomorrow, after I investigate Odaiba. Iâd ask if you guys want something from Starbucks, but itâd be a moot point considering this isnât the real world. Until tomorrow, though, guess Iâll say good night.â
And at that point, Arata backed off, stepping onto the pad and flying away to get off of EDEN for the night. He hoped theyâd be alright, for a second, but soon decided theyâd probably be fine. He didnât have time to waste worrying about things right now.
