SIGNS YOU MAY HAVE BEEN CURSED/HEXED
I am going to put mild, moderate, and severe so that you know the level of evil you are dealing with. Mild can also be karmic, but severe is most likely black magick
A lot of these symptoms can be due to physical illness, mental distress, preferences, or mental illness. Only count the ones that are new to you and unexplained by any events that could have triggered these feelings.
Mild Symptoms: -Frequent headaches -Anxiety worse than usual -Nightmares -Intrusive thoughts -Constant yawning -Uneasy feeling when you are alone -Relationship problems (including family, friends, acquaintances) -Pets are acting strange -Plants start to die or get diseases -Crystals or other spiritual items disappear -Aches and pains -Feeling drained and unmotivated -Not wanting to clean your environment or cleanse it -Feeling distanced from spirituality -Low or no sex drive Moderate Symptoms: -A string of bad luck -Minor inconveniences such as losing something important at a critical time -Seeing shadows out of the corner of your eye -Candles burn unevenly or blow out, or blow up -Your electronics start malfunctioning -Minor injuries to you or your loved ones -Pets get sick -Sudden unexplained illness or infection -Finding water in strange spots in the home -Someone killing you or cursing you in your dreams -Photos have gone missing -Sudden financial losses -Hearing odd sounds -Minor accidents -Missing underwear -Unusual breakouts (not caused by hormones) -Job loss -Sudden breakups -Strong aversion to healing meditation music or chakra healing music
Severe symptoms: -Things catch on fire (stove, oven, house, furnace, candle burning other items, etc.) -People around you die of freak accidents -You get into a serious accident or get a serious injury -Pets start dying, run away or disappear -Spiritual items start breaking (pendulums, crystals, wands, and it wasn’t from stepping on them) -Demonic possession -Demonic oppression -Seeing the number 666 over and over (and it feels bad to you) -Seeing 13 birds, specifically magpies -Talismans in or around your home (dolls, knives, jars full of nails, nails, broken glass, liquid, powder, symbols, grass missing) -Trees around your property start dying -An orb following you around (negative feeling) -Crosses, protection talismans, spiritual items fall off the wall, are inverted, destroyed, or damaged -Finding drops of blood around your house or on you -Hearing screaming outside your house at a significant time (midnight, 3AM) -Sleep paralysis -New thoughts of suicide (go to doctor just in case) -Knives being thrown off of counter (for no reason) -Obsession over people or items -Everything seems to be going in a downward spiral -Scratches appear on you out of nowhere (particularly 3) -People try to harm you physically -Your hair starts falling out -You start behaving in a strange and erratic way (also go to doctor just in case) How do I know I am cursed?
Mild curse: If you experience 5 symptoms of the mild symptoms, cleanse your home and do some good deeds. Behave in a more positive light and try to give more to combat any bad karma or negative energy. Moderate curse: If you experience 10 or more symptoms of any curse above, serious spiritual intervention must occur. You need to purchase cleansing materials and start your banishing rituals immediately. You can find them online. Intuitively pick the ritual that you feel will help. Severe curse: If you experience 5 or more of the “severe” curses, or more than 10 of moderate to severe symptoms, an exorcism may need to take place. You may also hire a witch or a priest to bless you and your property. Hex removals should also take place. They can be found online. If you only experience a few of these things, you could be experiencing a dark period in your life that is a part of your life path. Try to stay strong, and if things worsen, simply cleanse yourself and your home, room or apartment. If you find any odd objects inside or outside of your house, dispose of them immediately. Bless what cannot be physically removed, and cleanse and bury or throw away any physical item far, far away. Make sure to cleanse your spiritual supplies and deep clean your space.
CIRCLE CASTING 101
A magickal circle is an energetic construct that you build or envision around yourself before working magick, doing a ritual, some like to cast a circle before meditating or reading tarots. For a solitary practitioner the circle is typically 5-6 ft in diameter, but the size expands based on the size of the group. It can be defined physically, energetically, or both.
Circles provide protection and serves as a container for your personal energy as well as the energy you conjure.
Please remember that this is just what i personally like to do when casting a circle, but that there are many methods.
Preparation for circle casting
1. Determine how much space you will need.
2. Cleanse your area. Vacuum, sweep, throw away any trash in the area.
3.Make sure you have everything you need for your ritual! Theres nothing more frustrating than having your circle casted and realizing you’ve forgotten an herb or any supplies you need for the work you’re about to do.
4. Purify your area. Light purifying incense, sage, sprinkle salt and holy 💧. Most importantly, Visualize the negative energy dispersing. If you don’t focus & visualize, your physical actions will have little effect. Visualization is hands down one of the most important things in any and all magickal workings!
5. Now its time to cast your circle!
Visualize protective energy coming from within you and direct it towards your casting arm. Focus it through a casting tool (Athame, wand, or ✋) and visualize a beam of energy coming from it and settling on the ground. Trace your circle with this energy, 3 times in a clockwise direction. Once for protection, once for focus, and once for power.
Call the 4 quarters
Face North and say “I call to the North, to the element of Earth. Grant me (us if not practicing alone) your endurance, your strength.” Sprinkle salt onto your altar or crumble soil into a bowl on your altar.
Face East and say “I call to the East, to the element of Air. Grant me your creativity and your intuition.” Light incense, wave a fan,or drop feathers onto your altar.
Face south and say “I call to the South, to the element of Fire. Grant me your passion and your energy.” Light candles.
Face west and say “I call to the West, to the element of Water. Grant me your empathy and your emotion.” Pour blessed/storm/moon/natural water into a bowl or into your chalice.
Now would be the time to call on any deities you’d wish to work with. You can call any Goddess or Angel by personalizing this to them. I typically do not personally work with deities, but if you were to want to, Call to them similar to how the Elements are called. Ex. “I call to Gaia, Mother Goddess, Spirit of Earth.” and then place an offering symbolizing them, so for Gaia you might place grain on your altar as an offering.
If not solitary, now would be the time to invite others to the circle. The group leader typically invites others in by a series of phrases, although i know every coven has their own method fine tuned for themselves, This is just the method i’ve seen used and am familiar with. Group leader:”Children of the Goddess, I now invite you to enter our circle.” Each member will be asked “How do you enter this circle?” The response should be “In perfect love and perfect trust.”
Now its time to raise energy. This is the most important part of this process. It is so important because when you open your circle at the end of spellwork, You release all of your energy you have filled with intent out into the universe to go manifest whatever it may be you have called to. You want as much energy as possible to be released carrying your intent!
Here are a few ways! There is no wrong way to do this part, and there are SO MANY ways. You can fine tune this all to you. Remember that this is your ritual, and you want your energy fully behind everything you are doing. This is all customizable, most of all the energy raising.
-Witches Rune Chant
“Darksome night and shining Moon,
East, then South, then West, then North,
Hearken to the witches’ rune;
Here i come to call thee forth.
Earth and Water, Air and Fire.
Wand and pentacle and sword,
Work ye unto my desire,
Hearken ye into my word.
Cords and censer, scourge and knife,
Power of the witches blade waken all ye unto life,
Come ye as the charm is made.
Queen of Heaven, Queen of Hell, Lend your power unto my spell,
and work my will by magic rite.
By all the power of Land and Sea, By all the might of Moon and Sun,
As I do will, So mote it be;
Chant the spell, and be it done.
Eko, Eko Azarak
Eko, Eko Zamilak
Eko, Eko Karnayna
Eko, Eko Aradia”
-Meditating to raise energy. Visualize energy building and building by visualizing warm, yellow light fill your body until its expanding out of your body and filling the dome above your circle. visualize it filling with energy until you are content.
-Music or Drumming, Dancing and Chanting.
Once you reach your desired energy level, it is time to get into whatever spellwork or ritual you desire to preform!
After your spellwork, its time for Cakes and Ale. I like to make little spirit cakes and have some red wine after a ritual. Expelling all of that energy from your body is draining, and you should take your time to enjoy this part of the ritual. Set a cake and some wine aside for the entities who have lent you their energy as thanks. Cakes can be anything, from saltine crackers to cupcakes. Ale can be water. Anything that works for you is ok. For my cakes, i bake a shortbread and mix whatever ingredients i want into the dough. This way, I can craft them with the intent for whatever ritual i may be doing.
ONCE YOU FINISH YOUR WORK SAY GOODBYE TO THE ELEMENTS AND THANK THEM FOR THE POWER THEY BROUGHT. ALWAYS SAY GOODBYE AND THANK ANY DEITIES CALLED ON.
HERE IS HOW I DO IT:
-Farewell to Goddess. ex. “I thank you, Gaia, for gracing me with your glory. Farewell and Merry met.”
-Farewell to Quarters (Counterclockwise).
“My thanks to the element of Water, Your compassion was a gift. Farewell & Blessed be.” Now cover your dish of water or pour it out, Physically say goodbye as well.
“My thanks to the element of Fire, Your fierceness was a gift. Farewell & Blessed be.” Douse your candle.
“My thanks to the element of Air, Your wisdom was a gift. Farewell & Blessed be.” Douse incense/flip fan/turn over feather.
“My thanks to the element of Earth, Your protection was a gift. Farewell & Blessed be.” Cover earth with a cloth, or return it to ground.
I like to walk the circle the opposite way of its casting three times, and voila!
Keep in mind that this is just my method! There are many methods and this is just one of them.
I hope this is helpful to you!
-Love and light, @lapiscat
Sigils to help you get in tune with the elements and a magic circle to allow you to harness all of them. If you use this to cast a circle, make sure the top of the circle is pointing North.
Listen to the earth around you ✨
So hard to find a good ol magic shop these days why does no one sell herbs anymore?
Me: hey do y’all carry devils shoelace
Every magic shop I’ve been to in the past 3 years: hmmmm no we don’t but we have yellow calcite? What do you need it for?
I could not fine one - ONE - shop in all of Salem, MA that sold European mandrake. Not even mayapple, for that matter.
Just hoping to add a resource: If you can’t find what you want at a pagan store or if you cant find it for a good price (there are VERY few herbs that should cost more than $3 per oz., much less $10 for a tiny packet), you can always check local apothecaries.
They’re not always pagan owned or operated, but they are entirely centered around earth-based medicine, and they usually have hundreds of herbs for VERY good prices. They may not always have specialty herbs like Adam & Eve Root or Dragon’s Blood Resin, but they have literally everything else. Their herbs are also extremely high-quality and ethically-sourced (their herbs HAVE to be since they’re being marketed as medicine), whereas many pagan stores outsource their herb inventory from low-quality or unethical sources.
Also, you’re much less likely to have something mislabeled at an apothecary. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought “Jezebel Root” at a pagan store for a billion dollars, only to find out that I’d been scammed into buying mislabeled low-quality Orris Root (whether intentionally or not).
For Colorado-based Witches:
• Sage Woman Herbs (Colorado Springs, CO) - my go-to apothecary
• Ye Olde Magic Shop (Denver, CO) - my go-to pagan store for ANYTHING herbal related , especially rare herbs (this shop is run by a beautiful goddess of a witch known locally as “Soror”; she has a Master’s in Herbal Medicine and is a life-long witch; if you need ANYTHING plant-related, her shop is the way to go). PS: She also has an online store
• Herb & Arts (Denver, CO) - one of the oldest pagan shops in Colorado, has a massive herb inventory with trained herbal healers on staff and one of the largest collections of home-made essential oils I’ve ever seen
I’ve not once bought herbs from a pagan shop bc honestly, unless you know who’s doing the growing and harvesting, it’s hard to know if what you’re getting is the herb you’re actually looking for what with folkloric names and common names, and just plain old herbal adulteration.
Talk to herbalists if you want to find herbs. And look for people or shops who use the everloving latin names /please/
Mountain rose herbs is a very popular and very reputable american herbal supplier.
I also have enjoyed Monterey bay spice co, though there’s less info available about their harvesting practices.
For live plants, Richters, here in ontario is who I go to, or The Living Center (who I’m studying through) in London Ontario.
There’s tons of other replutable herbal suppliers depending on your location and my best advice would be to look up your local herbalist’s association or guild and see what resources they have available.
Banishing Nasty Spirits
If you’ve been following this series of posts, you know why a witch might work with spirits, how to establish a relationship with a spirit, and how to communicate with spirits. What we haven’t yet discussed is how to get rid of spirits that are bothersome, annoying, or malevolent.
I was planning to talk about pathworking and astral travel before getting into banishing, but in light of some asks I recently received on Tumblr, I think it’s important that we take a moment to discuss how to get rid of spirits that, for whatever reason, you don’t want around.
There are lots of reasons you might not want a spirit in your space. Just like with people, some spirits just aren’t a good fit for you and your practice. Part of being a spirit worker is cultivating a “spirit team” of beings that you can have healthy and beneficial relationships with.
Some spirits are mischievous and like to cause trouble. If you find yourself on the receiving end of lots of spirit pranks, you may want to gently encourage them to move along. And there are some spirits out there who just genuinely hate humans and will go out of their way to cause mental, emotional, and even physical harm.
Don’t get me wrong — malevolent spirits aren’t common. In my experience, the vast majority of unwanted spirits are more annoying than dangerous. I’m not saying this to scare you or make you paranoid. But these things do exist, and it would be negligent of me not to mention them in a series on spirit work.
There’s a reason that one of the most common truisms in witchcraft is, “Never conjure something you can’t banish.” If you’re going to be working with spirits, it’s a good idea to know how to banish them just in case. With that being said, here’s how you can clear out any nasties that may be lingering in your space.
Cleansing
The first step is to kick those unwanted spirits out of your space. There are lots of ways to do this, so choose the one that is the best fit for you.
Cleansing with fire and smoke is a very old and very simple method. If this is the way you decide to go, there are several magical substances you can burn to banish spirits. Burning sulfur or asafetida will clear out just about anything, but they both smell awful and are potentially toxic, so you’ll want to get an okay from the other people living in your home, burn a little at a time, and make sure you have lots of windows open. (Some people say sulfur and asafetida will banish all spirits, not just the unfriendly ones, so you may have to invite your spirit team back in later.) For something that smells a little more pleasant, you can try a mix of frankincense and myrrh resin, or burn a mix of dried rosemary, sage (garden sage, not endangered white sage, please!), and bay leaves — but again, make sure you have windows open, because these get smoky. Plus, you want the windows and/or doors open so the spirits have somewhere to go when the smoke chases them out.
If smoking up your living space isn’t an option for you, you can manually clean your space with a wash or powder. If you have hardwoods, you can make a floor wash with water, salt, lemon juice, rosewater, lavender essential oil, and either bay laurel or rosemary essential oil. (This is adapted from an uncrossing bath in the book Utterly Wicked by Dorothy Morrison.) Use this mixture to mop your floors, as well as to wipe down your walls and furniture. If you have a humidifier or essential oil diffuser, diffusing some of this mix would also be a good idea.
If you have carpet, you can make a powder by combining salt, dried lemon peel, dried roses, lavender flowers, and bay leaves. You’ll need to ground this really fine, so I recommend using a coffee grinder or food processor. Sprinkle the powder on your carpet, let it sit for a few minutes, and then vacuum it up. I would supplement this by also diffusing a mix of saltwater with rosewater, lemon juice, and lavender and/or bay laurel essential oil. If you don’t have a diffuser, at least sprinkle some saltwater around the room and on your belongings.
No matter which form of cleansing you decide to use, it’s important to verbally state your intention to banish these unwanted spirits from your space. Tell them out loud that they are no longer welcome here and that they need to leave. Don’t be rude about it, but be firm and speak clearly and with confidence.
After you cleanse your space, it’s a good idea to cleanse yourself as well to remove any psychic ties to the spirits you’ve just banished. The easiest way to do this is with a ritual bath. The floor wash recipe mentioned earlier can also be used as a psychic cleansing bath. Other options include a bath with salt, frankincense, and myrrh or a bath with salt, rosemary, sage, and bay laurel. You can use essential oils for your bath, or add the resins and herbs to a cheesecloth bag and drop it into the tub for easy diffusing and cleanup.
If you don’t have a bathtub, you can cleanse yourself in the shower. Place two cups of salt in a bowl. Add lemon juice, rosewater, lavender essential oil, and either bay laurel or rosemary essential oil. If you don’t have essential oils, you can add dried lavender and crushed bay leaves. Add some of your favorite body wash to create a scrub (if you don’t have body wash, use olive oil). While in the shower, use this mixture to scrub your skin — visualize yourself scrubbing away any psychic gunk you might have picked up.
Protection
Once you’ve removed any unwanted spirits from your space, you want to lay down some protection to keep them from coming back. There are as many ways to ward off spirits as there are witches, but here are a few ideas to get you started.
One option is to create a ward. You can do this by anointing the door frames, door knobs, and window frames of your home with a protective oil blend and/or by creating lines of salt across your doorways and just inside your windows. You can use other protective substances if you prefer. As you lay down these protections, visualize a protective shield around your home, and speak aloud your intention to keep harmful spirits out.
Iron is said to repel spirits. Keep a railroad spike or other large piece of iron under your bed to prevent nightmares and to keep spirits from messing with you while you sleep. There’s an old superstition that says that hammering iron nails into the four corners of your home protects it from spirits — this may not be possible if you’re renting, but you can create a similar effect by displaying a piece of iron in each of the four corners of your home. Hematite is a crystal that is high in iron, so it can be used in a similar way to ward off spirits.
Aloe is said to protect from negative spirits, and to bring protection and good luck more generally. It’s also a common house plant that is easy to care for, so this method of protection is especially great for witches who need to keep their practice a secret. Keep several aloe plants in your home to protect those who live there.
For witches with a crafty side, making a witch bottle is another option for protection. There are lots of different recipes for witch bottles, but the basic method is to fill a bottle with sharp objects, add something from your body, and hide it somewhere outside your home (traditionally buried on the property, but leaving it in an outbuilding works just as well). The idea is that any nasty spirit that comes looking for you will be attracted to the bottle (because it contains part of your body), get caught by the sharp objects, and be trapped. To create a simple witch bottle, fill a mason jar about halfway with sewing pins, then add a bit of your hair and some of your fingernail clippings, and finally fill it with liquid (traditionally, this liquid is your own urine, but if that makes you uncomfortable vinegar will also work). If you want, you can also include some of your favorite banishing herbs, resins, or crystals.
Religious symbols can also keep nasty spirits away. If you identify strongly with a religion, display protective symbols from that faith in your living space. For example: a Christian witch might hang up a crucifix or set out a statue of Archangel Michael, a Norse pagan witch might hang up an image of Mjolnir, a Hindu witch might display a statue of Durga, etc. Sometimes the most effective way to keep nasty spirits away is to let them know that you’re under the protection of someone more powerful.
When dealing with unwanted spirits, the most important thing to remember is that you do not need to be afraid. You are a powerful witch, and you are more than capable of getting rid of them. Be confident in your abilities and know that whatever happens, you can handle it.

♡ cleansed water
♡ pen and paper
♡ empty spray bottle
♡ lavender
♡ lavender oil
♡ rose petals
♡ optional: Rose quartz
Procedures:
♡ Gather all materials together
♡ Fill bowl with water, then add three drops of lavender oil, a pinch of lavender and a pinch of rose petals.

Uses:
♡ spray a little on yourself when you’re feeling down about yourself.
♡ Spray it around you to invoke positivity in others
please don’t put lavender essential oil in. for one, oil won’t mix with water, hence it will not dilute. secondly, non diluted essential oil can be very bad for your skin. even diluted can.
I recommend infusing some water with lavender petals over the course of a few days and using that instead
Yep! Adding a note that herbal infusions (like lavender infused water) has a short shelf life. 24 hours at room temp to 4-5 days in the fridge. You can of course add preserving ingredients like alcohol, but if this is going on your skin, best to just make small batches (or freeze it!)
DIY Magical Shower Disks
So you have seen our lovely bath magic spells but you cannot take a bath. Maybe you don’t have a bath in your current residence, maybe you are physically unable to use bathtubs, maybe you’re just super stretched for time but want to get in some extra magical umph. Recreational Witchcraft is here for you.
Shower disks are traditionally used in the aromatherapy world to relieve congestion and other flu-symptoms while showering via the use of essential oils, but we will be bumping up their magical potential.
Basic recipe:
1 cup baking soda
1 tablespoon corn starch
1/3 cup of water
Muffin tins and muffin liners
Combine baking soda and corn starch (making sure there are no clumps), then slowly add in the water. Fill lined muffin tins about third of the way, then leave out for 24 hours to dry completely. Carefully take them out of the liners, add your essential oils, and place your disk somewhere in your shower that will allow them to dissolve slowly while you do your business. Bam. You’re done.
Now onto the magic. All dry ingredients (herbs, spices, etc) should be added in with the baking soda and corn starch before the water is added. All essential oils should be added right before they’re used (so when they’re completely dry).
Cleansing and Purifying:
essential oil of rosemary
essential oil of lemongrass
dried peppermint leaves
dried lemon rinds
dried rosemary
Protection:
essential oil of lavender
essential oil of eucalyptus
dried basil leaves
dried lavender flowers
pinch of ground cloves
Glamour:
essential oil of sweet orange
essential oil of rose
essential oil of jasmine
crushed red rose petals
pinch of (body safe) glitter
Attracting Love:
vanilla extract
essential oil of jasmine
essential oil of ylang ylang
apple seeds
1 lavender flower
pinch of cinnamon
Attracting Money:
essential oil of patchouli
essential oil of juniper berry
dried mint leaves
dried thyme
pinch of allspice
nature is sacred, pass it on.
Any helpful home remedies for stomach aches and cramps other than mint tea and applying peppermint oil?
i don't believe that you become a witch. it was within and around you all along.
every time you'd collect rocks as a child, or spoke to the moon when you needed comfort, or even when that warm, tingling sensation would hit you while walking in the woods. it was always the little things that didn't quite make sense.
it was calling to you, remember that. you're no less just because you figured it out later.
I made some self love and confidence tea ✨
Echinacea Root
Lavender
Hibiscus
Chamomile
Fresh Strawberry
Drizzle in some honey with an appropriate sigil and some words of affirmation. Enjoy 💕
My roommate: your ... umm.. girlmore girl...sure, why not, has some brown on its leaves

My roommate: GERANIUM!
My lanta I haven’t laughed like that in so long 😂
“Don’t Work with Death!”
“Don’t work with death, because then you invite it into your house.”
Death is already in my house. Death is everywhere. Death is what decays the plant matter that feeds my garden. Death is what feeds the herbs I use in my spells, for each grows from what died before it.
Death is what feeds my family - death of plants, the death of animals. I would not disrespect the spirits of that which feeds us by ignoring their sacrifice.
Death is the veil between my ancestors and myself, keeping them at rest and then acting as the gate for them to step into their next life.
When I do hospice work and sit with someone who is accepting their approaching death, I don’t tell them death is something to fear or avoid. I tell them death is the friend that walked beside them, every step of their life, maintaining the balance of the world, and waiting for them with open arms, to escort them to rebirth.
“Don’t work with death!”
I would not ignore life’s partner, not for arrogance or fear or ignorance. When I go to my own, I want to greet death with respect, acceptance, and gratitude.
Cleansing Bubbles Spell
Do you need to cleanse a space, but don’t have (or want) sage to burn, specialty sprays (which can get pricy), or fancy sound-healing tools? This spell is for you! You can modify it to not just cleanse, but also bring joy, love, light, and peace to a space.
What do you think of when you imagine blowing bubbles? Odds are, it’s probably an image of childhood springs and summers spent outside, barbecues, parades, festivals, and fairs. Bubbles have a playful, young, and sweet energy. They bring light and a sense of laughter to any space. Just looking at those perfect orbs of shimmering iridescent rainbows seems to lighten the mood.
This spell works best for outdoor spaces, but if you really want to do this indoors, go crazy! This spell is all about fun :)
YOU WILL NEED:
Blowing bubbles (or you can make your own. Just find a good water/soap ratio. Dish soap works the best).
The essential oil of your choosing (sage oil for plain old cleansing; orange oil for joy and laughter; lavender for peace; or rose oil for love. You can experiment with combinations, depending on your intention).
1 small quartz crystal (citrine for happiness; amethyst for calm; smoky quartz to transmute negative energy; rose quartz for love; or just clear quartz for general cleansing).
Once you have everything, do all your pre-spell preparations, whatever they may be. Cast your circle, invoke whatever spirits you want (my suggestion in this case would be a Light Being or a spirit who specializes in healing, cleansing, or happiness and abundance). However you like to perform a spell, do it!
Mix 3 drops of your chosen essential oil, and mix them in with the bubble wand clockwise. As you stir, imagine the feeling of youthful joy and laughter, infusing it into the mixture. You might choose to repeat an incantation or a mantra (such as one for Tara or Quan Yin), or any prayer of your specific tradition that evokes happiness, love, and light.
Next, hold your chosen quartz in your hands and charge it by telling it what you want it to do. Specify that cleansing the old energy is the goal, but also include what you want to replace the old energy with—is it joy and sunshine? Calm and peace? Love and light? Whatever your intention, infuse it into the quartz. Put the quartz into the bottle.
Now screw the lid back onto the bottle. You can either let it sit outside in the sunshine to soak up the solar energy, or you can put it on an altar to charge its magical properties. Or you can use it right away!
As you blow the bubbles, imagine that they’re made of pure light. Wherever the bubbles fly, their cleansing energy will spread. You can repeat your mantra, prayer, or incantation again every time you blow. Watch the bubbles dance and roam through the air, catching in the light. Blow bubbles as long as you’d like, until you feel that they’ve done their job. Now you can store the rest on your altar or someplace outdoors, to be used again whenever you feel the need to.
NOTES!
🌬 Have multiple people help out and fill the area with laughter! Nothing clears negative energy quite like a crowd of friends.
🌬 Pick a bottle of bubble soap whose color corresponds to your intention—orange for warm and sunny energy, purple or blue for calm, green for healing, pink or red for love, yellow for joy, etc.
🌬 This activity is great for little kids. Children have such joyful energy, just give them some bubbles and let them go!
🌬 This spell works the best for areas that feel creepy, “off”, negative, or full of dead energy (ie ghosts). This could be your backyard, your local park, your cul-de-sac, or even someplace indoors. As long as you don’t mind cleaning up sticky soap, you can do this anywhere you want!
Hope this helps!
witches in old fairytales had the right idea. living alone, unmarried, in the middle of the woods, and if a hero stumbled across their cottage they’re like “maybe I’ll give you a magical token to help you out. maybe I’ll fuck up your entire life. depends :)”
