Not a lie, and he knows she knows it. Can see her working to hide the surprise at his words. Arms crossing in front of his chest, he turns his face away to keep the smile on his face to himself. It’s difficult keeping things to himself sometimes, he’s too open even after anything. Comes to jokes and laughter far too easily.
