It's visable, but out of the way enough that people would have to go out of their way to take a closer look
It's also made of string instead of yarn, so hopefully both of these are enough to discourage people from taking it down

Progress is coming along really well, but I ran out of orange, so I'm going back another day with either more orange, or a different colour
The cows seem to be interested in this new thing that has appeared in their forest. Hopefully they don't chew/break it
At no point did I interact with them, they came up to me on their own terms

Progress update of the latest web. I've caught the attention of some visitors
There's gonna be a bit of spam as I have multiple videos, so bare with me
I've been asked before about using multiple colours..
Anyway, birthday spooder
"you're not gonna catch anything" says the stranger
"I'm catching people's attention" says the spider
Based on a real conversation while making this web
Twitsy yellow web
Recent web snapped so I was compelled to repair it
There's also a very small real web attached to the corner. I feel honored
Didn't even last a day o7
After I finished weaving and started heading home, some guy told me about an outdoor crafts class for young people he runs. He gave me his card, so I looked into it and it looks fun. I dunno about you, but this feels like a sign from the web
This one was put up in a place more publicly accessible than the rest. It didn't last long, a few days at most. Maybe it was my fault for weaving so close to where some boys played. I think they called me "weirdo". I didn't see them pull the edges and snap the strings of my work. I doubt there was thought behind it. Just the simple mind of a boy wanting to cause destruction like popping bubble wrap. I'm glad I took pictures before it was gone though. They tore down some of my other work that was woven close by. Not all of it though.
... Fucking idiot didn't even see them all...
Whatever, webs aren't meant to be permanent I suppose. I'm just angry my art is destroyed. I'll get over it in time.
I find it thematically appropriate that, while weaving the third web, the only person to come up and ask what I was doing was vaping
Edit: aaaaaa, I just realised I posted 2 of the same picture rather than 3 different pictures. Anyway, that's fixed now. Not that the 3rd one is very visable, but oh well
I've made a few webs in some trees that I get to look at on my walk to the shops. I was walking past a woman and her kid today as I passed the web. The kid was pointing at the webs and the woman said "yeah, it's a spiders web", and internally I'm like "FUCK YEAH, VINDICATION, they know what it's meant to be"
Very proud of how this one turned out!
I started from the inside, then worked my way out, giving me a better sense of scale
I should tell scary stories in the web posts I make to justify adding tma to the tags
