Hell’s Cafe (Le Cabaret de l’Enfer) was a famous themed spot in Paris’ Montmartre area during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Created by Antonio Alexander, the cafe opened in 1892. It looked like a cave with a big monster mouth as the entrance, guarded by a doorman dressed as Satan. The inside had devil statues, fiery walls, and waiters dressed as demons.
