Hey, I was just wondering if you had any plans to return to the Sun city au or if you had abandoned that one? I read it recently and I love it so much and I wanted to know why John let things fizzle out with Jordan when he seems to love him so much
Helloooooo!! I’ve just read it back there to see if it would jog my memory but honestly I am confused as you and that’s probably why I abandoned it. I think I had a vague idea that in real life you do tend to get ghosted by holiday romances so I wanted to bring that in, but obv wanted them to reconcile so had John still into Jordan when he returned.
In hindsight I should’ve had John be a bit colder, should’ve had him less arsed about Jordan and then slowly start to fancy him again over the week, remembering how he had felt last year. I’ve said in the fic that John was in Sunderland twice but never reached out and if I remember rightly I think it was going to be that John had like, seen Jordan and his scaffolder mates in the pub or something and just decided that their lifestyles were too different and was worried that it wouldn’t work out.
I didn’t plan it very well and when I don’t go in with an idea of how it’s meant to end the plot does end up all over the place and will end up unfinished. I’m sorry!! I was actually enjoying the storyline myself there and would’ve liked to have read how I was going to explain all that too. I hope this helps to put the story to bed even a little bit for you.
