My work explores how rigid materials like wire can convey tenderness and softness. Inspired by cocoons, it reflects on the inner child and the duality of protection and vulnerability. Using copper, brass, and zinc wires in various sizes, I experimented with weaving techniques, creating three-dimensional, airy sculptures that adapt to their environment. The installation invites viewers to engage with it from different angles, highlighting the contrast between the hard material and its nurturing form. This process illustrates the emotional complexity of weaving, merging care with rigidity.
